Milwaukee riots 2016

Why Milwaukee Burns – Black social breakdown and anti-cop ideology put another American city to the torch.

The war on cops, ideological and sometimes lethal, may be expanding into a broader race war, in which only one side fights. The thugs who torched businesses and police cars, assaulted cops, and shot at firemen in northwestern Milwaukee on Saturday night went after “white bitches,” among other targets. (The riots were inspired by the fatal police shooting of Sylville K. Smith, a black man. Smith, who had an extensive arrest record, including for a shooting, fled from officers after a traffic stop while carrying a stolen handgun; he refused commands to drop the gun. Wisconsin governor Scott Walker has activated the state’s National Guard and declared a state of emergency, but violence continued into Monday night, with four officers injured, three squad cars damaged, and multiple businesses burned down.) The Black Lives Matter-inspired assassin who murdered five police officers in Dallas in July 2016 said that he wanted to kill white people, as well as white cops. The vitriol that officers working in urban areas now encounter on a daily basis is inflected with racism.

Amazing a black officer shot a black criminal and that’s racism ? Unbelievable how the 21st century is turning into.

Obama has changed race relations in America.

‘Black social breakdown’ and ‘anti-cop ideology’ is an admission that they’re not members of western civilization. Everywhere blacks go they amount to barnacles on the hull of the host.

I think Adam Carolla has nailed it, that the bulk of modern societal problems are either caused by or exacerbated by the breakdown of families, which no race seems immune from. Fix that, and everything caused by other factors becomes much more manageable.

So where are whites declaring war on the police, rioting, burning, looting and calling for the extermination of blacks?

  • Let them live in their own ashes.

    Stop rewarding their thuggery.

It’s a two-parter. Meanwhile we should be actively and visibly rewarding those who genuinely want out of that toxic environment. I’d like to see the right reach out to that type of minority, instead of just giving them lip service and writing them off as a lost cause of a voting block.

They could be running on actually wanting to solve problems in the black community; just point out the disasters that are cities controlled for decades by Democrats. Don’t flinch when the histrionics and shrill accusations start. Make it clear that this is about the culture, not the race; I’ve seen just as bad behavior from trailer trash whites as ghetto blacks.

I cannot help but think that if you took black Americans (even from the worst areas) from half a century ago dropped them into 2016 and gave them a crash course on modern technology, a lot of them would be kicking ass and taking names, economically speaking. They wanted to succeed and better themselves, and would be beaten to a pulp by their parents if they tried acting like their 21st century counterparts.

      • The first part of your comment: yes, but (it must be said) most black voters care about colour even if one did appeal to reason.

One would think that after decades of poverty, that particular voters block would get a clue. But, rather like some blocks here, they don’t.

Your second part: black slaves and early twentieth century black Americans would give anything for the opportunities that most black Americans toss away now.

        It boggles the mind.
