Trump still holds the aces against Hillary Clinton

Last week, the New York Times ran the page one headline ‘Pence Supports Ryan, Showing GOP Turmoil.’ There was turmoil in the Republican party because Mike Pence, its vice-presidential nominee, had endorsed the candidacy of Paul Ryan, its most powerful congressman. One wonders what the Times would have called it had the two men actually disagreed about something. The Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump had waited days before endorsing Ryan, a signal that he had not forgotten Ryan’s slowness to back him in the spring. And the whole press is now in a frenzy of negative reporting about the Trump campaign. These have been ‘weeks of self-inflicted controversies and plummeting poll numbers’ among Trump’s Republicans. It has been a ‘meltdown’, a ‘cascade of blunders’, a ‘panic’.To judge from the headlines, Trump cannot win, because he is disrespecting the families of America’s war dead, bullying babies and helping Vladimir Putin spy.

This will be an historic landslide victory for Trump. I figure between 55% to 60% VS Hillary.
Tonight, another mega-rally at Kissimee, Florida. Arena holds 10,000 people. It will be packed with people waiting outside.
Livestream carried by RightSide Broadcasting. I suggest you check in around 8h30 PM.
Hillary was in Kissimmee a few days ago. She rented a 4,000-seat hall. Only 171 people showed up as per door count.

    • I suspect it will be.

      • CoolTolerance

It was. Surprisingly, it started on time. At 7h PM.
Arena was packed with a couple of thousand waiting outside, as usual.
Crowd was fantastically wild, all together in unison, people that don’t know each other, all races and income levels and all ages, all together and united.
It’s a beautiful thing to see. This is a movement, the Monster Vote.

        • Clink9

I want to be back in Kissimmee. Was just there in June.
Trump has to get all over the voter fraud with the Dems.

Yeah, I don’t know why the media can’t see what is happening.
      Well, I do.
I get into it with my snobby anti-Trump buddies at work.
I point out the difference in the size of the crowds and they refuse to believe it.
Even when I provide them with photographic and video proof they can’t believe their lying eyes.

      • canminuteman

The media probably can see but they are busy pushing a story rather than report the news.

        • H

It sure looks that way but then, where are these poll numbers coming from? Are they completely fudging them? Are people keeping silent about their support for Trump or even perhaps deliberately misleading the pollsters (as apparently happened with the Brexit vote)? It’s possible, I suppose.

          • CoolTolerance

Forget the polls. Who is paying for these polls, who pushed the poll, the methodology of the poll… they reveal a lot when available.

It’s not normal that Trump was 15% ahead of Hillary prior to DNC convention and after convention, Hillary is 15% ahead. Scientifically impossible.

Often, polls are taken from democratic majority areas or from prior registered voters only. The number of Americans who have never bothered to vote is set at around 10 Million. They will be voting this time around. It’s called the Monster Vote.

One very specialized website sets Trump’s victory at 73.25 million votes come November 8th. This website has been correct in all its predictions up till now.

Why does Trump keep saying such stupid things ?

He is not acting like a Politician that wants to win.

He is not acting like a President.

    • I dunno, it’s kinda refreshing.

      • Clink9

He’s like Whack-A-Mole. He says something “controversial” then waits for the bed wetters to pop up and chime in unison.

        Best Election Ever.

    • canminuteman

Is he saying stupid things, or are the press taking his words and twisting them and then reporting that he is saying stupid things? I don’t know because all I know is what the media says he said. I haven’t heard anything first hand.

      • CoolTolerance

Media distorts, innuendos, and flat-out lies.
Best example is CNN yesterday saying Secret Service spoke with Trump campaign re his 2A remarks. It was a big lie.
Another example: the baby was thrown out of the rally. Another big lie. The mother was outraged at the lies.
It’s just lie after lie, distortion after distortion.

As Canadians none of this should surprise us for heaven’s sake. We had it non stop for ten years vilifying Harper and the CPC with lies, words taken out of context and just pure invented stuff. It was non stop for ten bloody years and was successful in bringing in the most incompetent PM in our history.

His stream of conscious ad libs are part of his appeal. He comes across as a real person and not the sock puppet of an entrenched political machine.
