51% of Canadians support Trump style travel ban to protect Canada from Muslim terrorism: poll

Fifty-one per cent of respondents in an Ipsos poll conducted for Global News strongly or somewhat supported banning people from all countries compromised by terrorism as a means to ensure national security.

Darrell Bricker, CEO of Ipsos Global Public Affairs, told Global News he was somewhat surprised by the response.

Surprised? That’s because Darrel Bricker has his head up his ass.

You’ll note the poll never mentioned Islam or which countries may be considered “compromised” by terrorism in its questions to respondents.

That’s because we instinctively know it’s about those damn Amish.

Well, not nearly as high as it ought to be or as I would have personally liked to have seen, but kudos to my fellow Canadians anyway – apparently we aren’t all completely blind to what is going on in the real world (as opposed to the MSM’s fantasyland). Mildly encouraging.

    • Yes it is encouraging but I also expect that a lot of people are frankly too afraid to say what’s on their mind, even to a pollster.

    • Wow that was such an asinine column, glad to see the commenters set that idiot straight.

I also liked the part about the protest march being cancelled because nobody showed up 🙂

I remember during the elections, the candidates where bidding up to one and other, who would bring in the most refugees, highest bidder won.
