Hillary Clinton Assures She Doesn’t Want to ‘Repeal the Second Amendment’

Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton sat down with Chris Wallace of Fox News for her first interview following the Democrat National Convention. Wallace directed the conversation to the topic of gun control and Clinton appeared to reverse her earlier position against the Second Amendment.

Just last year, audio was leaked from a Clinton fundraiser where she was heard saying, “The Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment.”

Bullshit, once in power, she will do as she pleases.

She also believed marriage was between a man and a woman. She believed it deeply. Her belief sprung deep from her religious convictions.

What religious convictions. The only altar that Killery prays at is the Altar to Hillary Clinton.

    Hitlery’s call sign is LPOS.

    hitlery seems to getting desperate…

Hillary Clinton will never stop lying and never stop trying to take people’s guns away till the moment she drops dead.

A time, which, with any luck, is rapidly approaching.

  • Bald-faced liar.

Hillary lies with such ease… It’s her top political skill.

    • V10_Rob

Not sure why she even bothered. Anyone even moderately pro-gun isn’t going to fall for it, and she’d probably get a solid bump from the left if she embraced gun restrictions, bans & confiscations wholeheartedly.

If nothing else, telling the stark truth would throw her enemies badly off balance, letting her screw with their minds as they try to figure out what her REAL game is…

Of course she doesn’t want to repeal the second amendment, she views it as a group right that belongs to the militia, not the people, and the militia is now what is called the National Guard.

      Repeal: No,
      Ignore: Yes

She would know that she is unable to get enough support from all the states to repeal an Amendment to the Constitution (Two thirds of both houses of Congress plus three quarters of the states must vote for any change). This would be especially difficult for any of the first ten Amendments, colloquially known as the Bill of Rights.

The easier route would be to control the Supreme Court with the appointment of a activist progressive Supreme Court judge and then bring a carefully selected court case to them that would result in the determination that the Second Amendment (as you state) only applies to government-organised bodies such as the National Guard, and is not a right of individuals. The other method, that states such as California seem to be adopting, is ratcheting up the restrictions on the kinds of guns an individual may own, or carry. This has been quite successful, and if the Supreme Court has five – or even the current four – progressive judges, likely to continue to be safe from challenge on Second Amendment grounds.

And she wants to sell you swamp land in Florida.

I guess there must be a difference in the legal definitions of ‘repeal’ and ‘abolish’…

Not that I’ve actually read the constitution or anything, but of the few amendments I’ve heard of, that seems sorta like one that’s designed to be uh.. unrepealable.

  • canminuteman

I think changing the constitution is difficult enough that it is not likely to happen. And if they try it could be Lexington and Concorde all over again. What she can do is appoint traitorous scum to the supreme court who can “read in” whatever they want. That is more likely than an actual constitutional amendment.

    • Slickfoot

Enough sleazy lawyers, and the democrats have plenty they will find a workaround.

  • GrimmCreeper

    I too am calling bull$hit.

    Gun grabbers: They always lie.

The only time the old bag tells the truth is when she tells Bill that she’s going to go and take a dump….

  • Jabberwokk

It’s not that she want your guns it’s just that she wants your guns.
