Hundreds of Students Protest Female Speaker’s Invite Over Concerns It’s Too ‘Dangerous’

More than 300 students at Elon University have signed a petition asking the school to disinvite a conservative Pulitzer Prize–winning author, Kathleen Parker, from speaking on their campus in October. In the petition, the students claim to “have discovered very disturbing things” about Parker, and therefore are “desperately asking our faculty and staff allies to aid us in removing Parker and stopping her from spreading her dangerous rhetoric through the school we love and cherish.”

  • What utter rot.

Aren’t they? When you firmly establish that you are a waste of good air, space and carbon BEFORE the age of 25, you cannot expect your life to be a happy or productive one. Hopefully, you turn to illegal drugs, become addicted, and do yourself in by sloppy accidental overdose before you cause anyone else or the planet any further permanent damage.

      • I still saying air-lifting can do some good.

But that’s just what I think.

Elon has said that they will NOT “disinvite” the speaker – the poor widdle snowflakes will have conniptions, and stomp their widdle feet and cry real tears

With luck, they will hold a “die-in” and actually kill themselves. We can hope, can’t we?

Hey girls ! Your school’s purpose isn’t to garner your love and cherishment, regardless of how precious you think you are. It’s purpose is to educate you and yours is to pay attention to its lessons ….not the other way round.

one of our Master students sent a very serious question: what is the Fall semester and does it start in January? Honest to goodness truth. It took a while to collect myself from the floor.

Sheesh! And I thought my cousin had married stupid – a Ph.D. who tried to boil water in Tupperware during the first week of their marriage. In the end, their marriage failed. Small mercies, we sighed.

Those kids are not thinking big enough. First thing they need to do is ban the internet on campus. There are all sorts of “bad” ideas on the internet. Then off to the library. There are books in there and those books sometimes contain ideas and some of those ideas are very bad indeed. It will take much to long to weed all the bad books out so just go Boko Haram on the whole place…Bit of gas and then ask an adult to light a match for you.

There, you’ve made a start children.

      Too true.

And it looks like Parker promoting Obama at least for the first election (I don’t care about the second one even if she changed her mind) didn’t cut her any slack with the SJW left. Tough on her.

Red fascism is always great fun until other peoples money runs out.

Students finding their power intoxicating and pushing it. That’s not unusual.

The lack of adult supervision to say NO, is astounding. These kids will have spent tens of thousands at college, only to then go into life and get their real education.

The School of Real Life will treat them very, very harshly. Many may resort to self-injury or suicide, if we’re lucky.
