Bernie supporters in Philly say they’re voting Trump

With chants of “Hell no DNC, we won’t vote for Hillary” and “Lock her up,” the protesters made it clear they would not be casting their votes for Hillary Clinton. But who would they be voting for instead?

Marxists would tend to prefer Trump in power as a clear cut opponent they can organize and campaign against 24 / 7 year in and year out until the next election.

Hitlery in power is a much more problematic murkey deal.

Trump’s actual support is probably higher because of the fact that “likely voters” are defined as people who voted in the last election. Trump is going to bring in new people, and Hillary is going to drive out old ones.

        Good point.

Hillary’s Hispanic and Black constituencies are chock full of apathetic voters. They can’t be relied upon to go out to the polls come election day. And this, even you stuck a free KFC and a liquor store beside every voting booth.

Trump’s supporters, OTOH, are fired up by the prospect that their votes this time ’round CAN actually make a big difference. They’re motivated, galvanized. They want to really stick it to the system.

Trump will win more of the black vote than any Republican since the Civil Rights Act.

Even if the ones who have voted in the past stay home instead, it’s still a win.

I suspect Jill Stein of the Green Party will do well. They can still vote for a woman.

I suspect it will break about 40% for Jill Stein, 20% for Trump and 40% for “My bed is really comfortable.” and “Elections Day, whoa man you mean I missed it.”

As we saw with the Brexit vote, the people who show up win.

Not quite. Trump has his own enthusiasts and the Republican establishment he ousted was smaller and more vulnerable. The disparagement of “RINOs” was ongoing for at least six years before Trump’s coup.

encourage people to use the write-in vote.
the space is on every ballot.
