climatessssCredibility Loss in Climate Science is Part of a Wider Malaise in Science

The corruption of climate science by some misguided individuals in the quest to “save the planet” is the most egregious example of the larger problems facing science in general. The problems are causing rapid erosion of credibility in science and environmental issues. Some are talking about the growing problems, but few even want to acknowledge them until it directly impinges their work and career. The public is becoming increasingly aware and angry about the intellectual and political elitism that is the source of the decline in standards and values. A central theme to the Brexit vote in the UK and the rise of Donald Trump is the rejection of the elite trio of the financial, political, and academic enclaves that are destroying people’s lives.

Donald-Trump-slams-the-EU-692804Donald Trump slams EU as crony organisation designed to ‘compete with the US’

The Republican Presidential candidate, who praised Britain’s decision to ditch Brussels last month, said it was created to “beat the United States when it comes to making money”.

The business tycoon openly supported the will of the British people when visiting Scotland just a day after the referendum, saying Britons had “taken their country back” and that Brexit was a “great thing”.

facebook-censorshipFacebook Restricting User for Posting #HILLARYSAMERICA #DINESHDSOUZA

Facebook brought down the banhammer on the outreach coordinator for Dinesh D’Souza’s Hillary’s America on Saturday, two days before the Democratic National Convention begins and Hillary is finally coronated.

In a recent poll done by OANN/Gravis, in which they asked a spread of 40% Democrats, 33% Republicans and 27% Independents who they would vote for, Donald Trump won with flying colors. Keep in mind these poll numbers came out before the DNC email leaks, where they were exposed for collusion with the media, lies and deception. Once new polls come out, there will be an even more drastic difference in people not wanting to vote for Hillary Clinton and many jumping on to the Trump train.

nice terror attackTerrorism in the Therapeutic Age

We know what is going to follow the latest terrorist murder in Nice. Shrines to the dead will instantly spring up. Conclaves of citizens will gather at sorrowful demonstrations filled with ecumenical clichés. The media will profile selected victims, wringing every ounce of pathos out of their tragedy. Twitter will be inundated with sentimental bromides and ephemeral hashtags, and politicians will give solemn and empty speeches laced with even emptier threats.

Welcome to terror in a therapeutic age.

Germany-75-per-cent-Germans-fear-eminent-terror-attacks-soonGermany: 75 per cent Germans fear eminent terror attacks soon

That figure has shot up from 69 percent just two weeks ago, although that isn’t a huge surprise, given that the intervening weeks have seen not only a huge attack in Nice, France, on the country’s national day, but also Monday night’s attack on a train in Bavaria which left four people seriously injured. Both attacks were claimed by the terror group Isis.

kaineLiberals Whine That Tim Kaine Supported Tighter Gun Control?

The standard liberal line from Barack Obama on down is that they only want sensible gun control regulation, not confiscation.

But Hillary Clinton’s newly-selected running mate Tim Kaine is now taking flak from race activists for supporting some very sensible gun control measures that, unlike many other restrictions, actually decreased crime.

trumpTrump to close door on countries ‘compromised by terrorists’

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has warned that countries such as France – which he says are compromised by terrorism – may be subjected to the “extreme vetting” he proposes to deter attacks in the US.

Asked if his proposal might lead to a point where few people from overseas are allowed into the US, Mr Trump said: “Maybe we get to that point.”

He added, in the interview on NBC’s Meet The Press yesterday: “We have to be smart and we have to be vigilant and we have to be strong.”

burquasBritish SAS attack ISIS in Burkas!

The men posed as ISIS chiefs wives by covering themselves from head-to-toe in the traditional black burkas and managed to make their way to the group’s headquarters. Underneath the burkas the troopers had grenades, machine guns and enough ammo to rain hell upon the terrorist scumbags. Priceless!

After making their way through the town they located the house of a senior terrorist chief and relayed the location and coordinates to a US Air Force AWAC mission control aircraft circling thousands of feet above.

Keeping Up with the Jihadis: A Response to the Attack in Kabul, Afghanistan

Keeping Up With the Jihadis – isn’t that the name of a TV show in Pakistan?

  • Would somebody who’s on Facebook like to do me a small favour? I want to leave a message at a GoFundMe page.

Some people have run up ridiculous vet bills on their cat. No way they’ll raise all the money, but there’s something so sad about putting a request out there and getting no response at all. Stuff like that can really make you lose faith in humanity. Besides which, I like cats. So I’m prepared to give them a tenner. But I’m not doing it through GoFundMe because instead of PayPal they use WePay which, based on everything I’ve read, is absolutely horrible. I’d like to suggest that they try a different Crowdfunder – specifically You Caring. So I need Facebook for that. I’ve never had an account yet, I’m not signing up now.

Awesome story about the SAS burka squad. Most SAS soldiers are, if anything, on the small side so I can see this working.

Our company’s safety officer was retired Australian SAS, which I thought somewhat ironic, though his safety talks were interesting, especially about low-level parachuting. What was even more ironic: It turned out he was moonlighting as one of Australia’s most notorious underworld hit men.

Most people who leave the company – their email addresses hang around for a while till IT get around to deleting their account. Sean’s was gone in a flash.

I dunno, he seemed like a nice enough guy.

Re Tim Kaine and gun control. Liberals deny the possibility of personal agency. People are never responsible for their own acts. So gun control can only be imposed top down by eliminating the supply of guns.

Kind of like the ‘war on drugs’ that liberals tell us is a horrible idea? No wait, it’s different. I mean, right? That’s got to be different.
