Who Gets Absolute Moral Authority?

My 12-year-old son couldn’t remember the phrase “take a walk down memory lane” last week, instead describing a stroll through “nostalgia road.” I knew it would come in handy.

Put on your hiking boots and join me for an educational trip down good ol’ nostalgia road.

It seems like yesterday when Champion of Wimmin Maureen Dowd, bemoaning the lack of sympathy for anti-war mom Cindy Sheehan, declared in The New York Times that “the moral authority of parents who bury children killed in Iraq is absolute.”

The Sheehan hag was a useful idiot as long as she was shrieking at President Bush to bring the troops home. The MSM couldn’t get enough of her. When she started shrieking at President Obama to bring the troops home, the MSM suddenly lost interest for some reason.

    • Indeed.

      The left used her.

Perhaps she wanted to be used.

I’ve no doubt she wanted to be, I’m surprised she hasn’t joined Code Pinko.

      … so mysterious.

The Democratic party has so perfected the staging of victimhood to elicit sympathy that it just looks silly and amateurish when Republicans try to do it.
