Ontario taxpayer, why should you pay me $650 to save money on my fuel costs?

I got a cheque for that amount yesterday from the government because I agreed to buy an energy-efficient furnace – to save me money. Why do you owe me $650 just because I am a frugal old woman?

It would be different if I were freezing to death, but I could actually afford a new furnace!

No wonder Ontario’s debt will soar $50 billion over four years.

But you are probably crazy enough to vote for Kim Wynne’s Liberals again, right? And help progressives bankrupt our grandchildren.

Okay, if that’s how you feel.

You know, I would really like one of those nice little electric Smart Cars too…

Reality check: Just remember, euthanasia is the new pension plan. Ever wondered why?

Old people have been freezing to death for years in England.
And they have been dying of heatstroke for years in France.
Why should Ontario be any different?

Ya govt is always looking to improve our lives. Here in Vancouver the city is looking to improve your street parking experience in the west end by raising the yearly fee from $70 to $700.

Don’t forget how they improved doornobs in Vancouver.

But, but, but, natural gas furnaces are evil according to the Liberals, so why are they incenting people to buy new ones? Guess some friends of the Liberals have some product to unload.

    • Yes, exactly. Thank you for the 4650. I plan to use it wisely.

  • Because people are tremendously stupid, these “green” policies sound sensible. It’s like paying people with Monopoly money and telling them that it is the better currency.
