BLM’s DeRay Mckesson: ‘All Lives Matter’ a ‘Distraction’ — I Would Never Yell ‘Colon Cancer Matters’ at a Breast Cancer Rally

Mckesson told host Chris Cuomo that invoking “All Lives Matter” was a technique used to distract from what he thought was the most important things the movement was attempting to accomplishment.

“It’s this interesting thing where people are frustrated by what black people are focusing on,” McKesson said. “The unique trauma black people are facing in this country and I would never go to a breast cancer rally and yell out ‘colon cancer matters.’ And that’s what people are doing here – is that they are frustrated by the fact that people are focusing on the inequity and injustice specifically targeted to black people. We know that the way blacks have functioned in this country is unique and we have to deal with that trauma in a different way.”

My mother was quite the wit… Another of hers: you can lead a whore to culture but you can’t make her think.

            Watching RNC on CNN.
            Are they in the tank?
It’s an awesome thing to watch.
I took holidays this week to watch it.
And it’s my daughter’s sweet sixteen, too.
            Nevermind mine.

No clue, we are in completely uncharted waters.

Oh no, it was a bait and switch.
They had the canned plagiarism angle ready to go.
            What a bunch of goofs.

Dance, pull out the stops for your daughter’s sixteenth birthday. You only get one opportunity to do so. I still treasure the memories of seeing my only daughter looking radiant as she celebrated her Sweet Sixteen (as well as her driver’s permit)! Enjoy!

Thanks for the advice, my good friend.
She’s upstairs right now with her friends cursing like a sailor.
We’re having a big blow out on the weekend.
Sweet sixteen for her and big five oh for me.
As well as it serving as my going away party.
Although it is mainly her day.
My wedding day seventeen years ago wasn’t about me, either.
Leaving them is going to be hard.
I am glad that they are in a house close to their family and that they have made many friends since we moved back home.
            So, I’m going alone.

“It’s this interesting thing where people are frustrated by what black people are focusing on,”…

    What, you mean like:

    -sniper attacks
    -habitual complaining
    -lack of personal accountability
    -racist hate speech
    -knock-out “games” against white seniors
-higher crime rate than every other demographic
-higher single parent rate than every other demographic

    • Justin St.Denis

      For starters, that’s a pretty good beginning…..

  • BillyHW

The only people suffering unique traumas are whites and Asians who suffer so much disproportionate crime at the hands of blacks and Hispanics.

  • Ed

Try saying “all cancer matter” at a breast cancer rally, and I doubt anyone would go berserk and trash the joint…

  • Justin St.Denis

DeRay needs to learn the meanings of the words he uses. In this case, the word “trauma” is being misused…..
