EU SUPERSTATE: Brussels bureaucrat calls for European federal government in wake of Brexit

Martin Schulz has said it was time for a “genuine European government” to replace the unelected European Commission.

The parliament’s president said an elected government who would have to answer to the European parliament would “make for more transparent political accountability at the EU level”.

That way, dissatisfied EU citizens could “replace one European government with another through elections”, he wrote in Germany’s Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung newspaper.

    To little to late.

It’s the classic double-down, while pretending to hear the little citizens: “Give us more power! We’ll be accountable this time for sure, promise!”

Do you really believe that? Most of the leaders don’t look forward to allowing their own people to vote on a referendum to leave the EU , allowing citizens to express their own “free” will…. Trust me the average person isn’t happy with the EU. So the same people who created this bureaucratic power monstrosity, obviously a Lefty’s paradise, are offering a new way of controlling the populace by issuing a new democratic form voting out parlaiment member if unhappy…..YEAH, RIGHT, LOOK AT OUR ENTRECHED CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS…..

It would appear that the Union flag in the picture is flying upside down. Thanks European Union, it is no more than we expect. Arseholes.
