Church of England bans mankinis in the pulpit

It would certainly be a revelation – but not of the kind to be found in the Bible.

The Church of England is considering changing ecclesiastical law specifically to make it illegal for clergy to appearing at the altar dressed in overly revealing clothing.

While the prospect of vicars in lacy underwear or bishops in mankinis might seem outlandish – at least in most congregations – it is an apparent peril which has so vexed Church officials that they are planning to amend canon law to prevent it – just in case.

Sort of reminds me of the old story about the Russian revolution. Apparently while the commies were going wild in the streets, the leadership of the church were inside having a hot debate about the colour of vestments. Now the so called Christian church is more worried about clothing, homosexual perverts, and global warming scams, while true Christians are being persecuted all over the planet.

    Freddie Mercury is dead.
What the heck are they worried about?

I wonder if this is allowed.

      Sure, five months from now.

Will the burka be OK then?

When did mankinis become a thing? This stuff reads like something out of the Onion.
