Brexit inspires Texodus and Caleavefornia: US states bid to throw off the yoke too…

Since the nation decided to back Brexit, secessionist groups from New England in the east to the Pacific Coast in the west have been inspired to throw off the yoke.

Across the pond in Texas, activists believe they could stand alone because their $1.6trillion a year economy would be one of the 10 largest in the world.

Momentum is gathering so much so, the hashtag #Texit and #Texodus is trending on social media site Twitter.

After the Brexit result came in on Friday last week, Daniel Millar, president of the Texas Nationalist Movement, called on Texas governor and Republican Greg Abbott to hold a referendum on leaving the US.

If California would leave and take their 55 electoral votes, we might regain a free republic.

California for a brief time was its own country.
In any event, the GNP hit is just too much to let Cali go.
BTW, once you clear out, as a Russian GF once called them, “the garbage people”, California could be a solidly conservitive state again.

    • Michelle Malkin pointed out that California cannot be permitted to leave. Even with its economy, it would soon founder under the weight of socialism and become bankrupt. The Chinese or Russians would quickly bail them out and then put troops in to protect their investment.

      We can’t have that.

        Too optimistic.
        Never happen.

California would never leave. They are the embodiment of liberal world domination thinking. They don’t want to be different or better they want everyone else to be worse.

If we cannot expel 10 million invaders from California won’t we just be next?
