Trump at Turnberry

‘Well, that’s too bad’: Trump gives blunt reaction to British PM’s resignation and praises UK public for ‘taking back their country’

Presidential hopeful Donald Trump said it is a ‘great thing’ that the people of the UK have ‘taken back their country’ in voting to leave the EU, as he touched down at his golf resort in Scotland today.

The billionaire arrived in his ‘Trump’-emblazoned helicopter at the Turnberry resort in South Ayrshire to officially open the revamped resort he bought in 2014, just an hour after Prime Minister David Cameron said he intended to stand down in October.

When asked his opinion on David Cameron announcing he is to step down, Trump said: ‘Well, that’s too bad.’

Yes….it’s too bad……Cameron will have his place in history though as the largest blancmange to reside in 10 Downing Street.

  • Brett_McS

Cameron kept his promise to hold the referendum, presided over many important (but rather unsung) reforms in the UK, and finally went out with dignity. Never been a fan, but that’s not too bad.

    • He failed miserably on immigration.

      • WalterBannon

        He failed miserably on everything.

I hope he has to spend his days helping his crooked father-in-law taking down all his thieving windmills.

  • Spatchcocked

Had to have his feet held to the fire to finally hold the referendum….after years of promises..

Encouraged and helped move along Turkeys eventual admission to the EU…

Did nothing to get a grip on illegals flowing into GB….

Used government to enrich himself his wife and his in laws….

A do nothing PM…..hoping the people will take it and only complain a bit now and then while the great issues were ignored.

A great blancmange pudding leading government…an elitist toff…..I hope a rabid fox bites him on his nose…

    • He was a two faced lair.

      • Frances

Shouldn’t that be a two level lair?

      • Maurixio Garciasanchez

Out of jokes I think the British people made the right choice , the whole Europe was becoming like a play toy for Muslims.

Making CNN sit through an infomercial on his golf course before he would comment was the absolute icing on the cake… he treated them like the cheap whores they are.. it was priceless watching them twitching like a tazer was being applied.

    • Heh;)

    • Maurixio Garciasanchez

You right Trump feels untouchable , he is perfect and he nver

    • Maurixio Garciasanchez

You right he is untouchable what ever he does or thinks is right for him.

CNN cut off Farage speech twice last night

    • moraywatson

But an infomercial with a point. It allowed him to note that Brexit’s win will make his Turnberry venture more successful due to the now weakening pound, because a weakened currency will lead to more tourism in Britain. He pointed out the advantages of a weaker pound to many other areas of the British economy.

don’t forget 43% of true scots voted to leave , the EU pay day loan scam

    • Alain

I am glad not all the intelligent Scots left for other countries.

      • moraywatson

It is as though 50 years ago someone started lacing the deep fried mars bars with socialism.

        • Alain

          Or maybe the whisky?

          • moraywatson
