The UN’s warning to Syrian smokers is beyond parody

You really can’t make this stuff up. With hundreds of thousands of people dead and millions fleeing for their lives, the failed state of Syria is being told by the World Health Organisation to concentrate on… plain packaging.

When you are under a lot of stress (such as an ongoing genicide), smoking cessation programs are a lot less effective.
Anyone know what ISIS’s stance is on E-cigs?
    I suspect that it’s ‘Haji don’t vape!’

They’d better not serve their coffee too hot.

Shopping for a good medical host country?

There is clearly no end to the anti-smoking (only tobacco of course) fascists. I suggest that beheading, raping and just plain barbarism are a much greater threat.

Given that ISIS has been reportedly killing people for smoking (Haram!) then that very beheading and barbarism might be smoking caused.

I can imagine the UN, after being informed of the ‘anti-smoking’ campaign of ISIS will release a press release praising ISIS’s, ‘Adoption of a tough new anti-smoking initiative in protecting more innocent lives of smokers and those around them from the devastating effects of cancer and the huge costs of treating this cancer. We applaud their initiative that goes far beyond our recommendations for tobacco advertising and plain packaging of cigarettes themselves.’

Sure is nice to see the UN setting it’s priorities. Christ what a bunch of loony losers, but very dangerous loony losers.

I’m withholding my full support for Trump until he promises to throw every UNocrat off the roof of the UN headquarters and bequeaths the building to the NRA.

This is the same organisation that years ago actually did a study and found there are no ill health effect of “second-hand smoke”. As the findings did not fit the narrative of the anti-smoking zealots, it never made international coverage and it has been crickets ever since. It seems they want to get back into the club with this rubbish.

  • Hard Little Machine

The UN will of course blame this on the Jews.
