‘God will punish those involved in homosexuality’: Orlando killer’s pro-Taliban dad

Hours after insisting his son was not radicalized, the father of the Orlando gunman took to Facebook to condemn homosexuality.

“God will punish those involved in homosexuality,” Seddique Mir Mateen said in a Facebook video posted early Monday.

Mateen, speaking in Dari, said he didn’t understand why his son took it upon himself to seek retribution against the gay community.

“This is not for the servants” of God, he said.

And yet the left will continue to deny that Islam has any negatives whatsoever and our political elites will continue to import this madness.

  • Oh, but that’s a part of his quaint little book that is taken out of context.

    Or something.

    Blame Bush.

Ignorance of the truth about Islam is no longer an excuse for those who continue wilfully to lie. So far I have seen it blamed on the NRA, Trump and of course Christians/Christianity. Let them start paying the price for such disgusting deceit and dishonesty.

The father sounds like a fruitcake himself:

He frequently posts Internet videos and broadcasts an anti-Afghan government television show from California, often launching into anti-American tirades and declaring himself president of Afghanistan.

He’s also praised the Taliban in past videos.

I have a friend whose father escaped or rather fled from The Troubles in Ireland.
Known him for twenty years and he’s never expressed an interest in taking up the Cause.

I was thinking the father was a mental case, and his son might have inherited some of it. It’s sheer speculation.

To declare himself the president of Afghanistan sounds kooky to me.

          ‘Governments in exile’.
          Think of Khomeini.

Occasionally, there are things that Muslims and Christians agree on. What differs, however, are the methods.

Muslims think they get to be God’s Avenger by killing Muslims.
Christians believe God gets to do it Himself. Vengeance is His.

You’ve a rather tenuous grasp of Christian theology. And your bias is showing. You should always wash your underwear before wearing those jeans….

Go ahead, please, and show us what Real Christian Theology looks like.

Of course he’s not been radicalized, he’s just giving a modern twist to the injunctions of the prophet.
