We are nobody’s enemy!

The first thing I heard in the news this morning while out running Hera with my friend and hunting buddy Jason and his dog Nos was that of the terror attack in Orlando Florida. The attacker, Omar Mateen, gunned down 50 people and injured at least 53 in a gay night club called Pulse in the early hours of Sunday morning. He was killed in a shootout with police. According to a report in CNN the attacker allied himself with ISIS. He was armed with a Glock pistol. His family said he disliked gay people. I am horrified and saddened by the news, but accept all there is to do when such an atrocity is perpetrated is bury the dead and comfort the living. Unfortunately, it will not be so simple. I am bracing myself for the histrionics and finger pointing to follow as it always does. The attacker was Muslim and in lawful possession of a firearm. People are going to point the finger at Muslims and gun owners alike in assessing blame for this horror.

I haven’t seen any serves ’em right comments on any of the conservative blogs.
    Funny that.

    • Minicapt

The left-whinge blogs are still working on it.

The conservative blogs are all condemning this act of Islamic terrorism and calling for prudent acts like banning more Islamic immigration

The left wing blogs are busy covering for Islam, blaming this on evil conservatives and peaceful gun owners, and otherwise spewing bile against anyone who even mentions Islam as having anything to do with this

Do the left actually like gays, or do they just use them as a tool for their cause when it is convenient?

    I’ve been thinking about this.
    It’s not too soon.
Why didn’t he attack just any night club?
Maybe it’s time that gay activism should stop pushing against the people that aren’t their enemies and focus on those who are.

That would require connecting those dots. I am uncertain that “advocacy movements” are capable of doing that.

      • WalterBannon

It would also require that left wing advocacy groups are actually advocating for the things they claim to advocate for.

But of course we know the truth from their actions. They are not pro-women’s rights and they are not pro-gay rights.

These are just some of the fronts they use to sell the left wing and to hide behind when challenged in order to silence all opposition.

As for the women and gays who the left claim to support – they are just useful idiots and will be throw under the bus just as fast as Stalin tossed his comrades in front of the firing squad in the Great Purge.
