Does Donald Trump have a heart?

His most vocal detractors will laugh at the idea.

They think of Trump as a cartoon capitalist, a modern day Scrooge.

So what will they make of Trump’s latest prescription for how to fix America?

His remarks may surprise even some of his biggest supporters — is the real estate tycoon a “compassionate conservative” in disguise?

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart, Trump said:

I’ve always been a great manager, but the difference is you’re going to have to manage with heart. When you run a country, you have to have more heart than when you manage a company. You have people that need help. You have people that are sick. You have people that need medical help and medical care. You have elderly.

I know! I couldn’t believe what I was reading! Bill Clinton is reasonably good-looking, so how did he ever get stuck with her?

Considering one of the reasons Mitt lost was his “47%” comment, Trump inoculating himself this way from the “heartless capitalist” meme is fine with me especially as there aren’t 30 years of reports of him treating underlings like crap as there are for Hillary.

Trump has been wheeling dealing all his life. His abilities are not in creating value by building industrial capacity like Carnegie, Rockefeller or Ford. Those were the guys who made America great in the past. What keeps the US afloat today is the willingness of the Chinese to trade in US dollars. If the Donald messes with their US market they will sink the US on short order.

Trump’s building activities have included creating commercial space, so he has created value as well.

Hillary loves Hillary very much. Does that count as having a heart?
