The Danger of the “Black Lives Matter” Movement

For almost two years, a protest movement known as “Black Lives Matter” has convulsed the nation. Triggered by the police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in August 2014, the Black Lives Matter movement holds that racist police officers are the greatest threat facing young black men today. This belief has triggered riots, “die-ins,” the murder and attempted murder of police officers, a campaign to eliminate traditional grand jury proceedings when police use lethal force, and a presidential task force on policing.

Even though the U.S. Justice Department has resoundingly disproven the lie that a pacific Michael Brown was shot in cold blood while trying to surrender, Brown is still venerated as a martyr. And now police officers are backing off of proactive policing in the face of the relentless venom directed at them on the street and in the media.

As a result, violent crime is on the rise.

  • And Obama invited them to the White House. Obama is responsible for the violence — just one other reason why he should be impeached.

I’ve been wondering whether this is some BLM action in Toronto:

Toronto Sun Joe Warmington article: Toronto’s gunmen getting more brazen.

Police report that on Sunday at 2:30 a.m., “a man had just left a boat cruise and was exiting a parking lot at 333 Lake Shore Blvd. E.” at the bottom of Parliament St. when “an unknown suspect approached the man, shot him in the lower abdomen, and immediately fled.”

The victim of what is being called a random shooting was “rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains” in serious condition, according to police.

McKenzie described the suspect “as black, 20-25, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot (and) wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.” Witnesses tell police he fled in a “silver Toyota sedan.”

Monday’s equally shocking incident began “at 8:15 p.m.” when “two bystanders, unknown to each other, in the Sherbourne St. and Howard St. area, near Bloor St.,” were shot at close range with a handgun.

One was a man just standing there. The other was out for a “leisurely family bike ride.”

McKenzie said one was shot in the arm and the other in the thigh. Both were taken to hospital.

“Like the one Sunday, we see nothing that provoked the shooting,” he said.

McKenzie needs the public’s assistance. If you saw something or know something, call him or Crime Stoppers.

Witnesses described seeing a male suspect who was black, 20-25, wearing dark clothing and may have been driving a white Hyundai sedan.

    Same guy?

One can easily expect racial tensions in America to rise even further next week with A&E and the History Channel set to air a remake of Alex Haley’s ‘Roots’.

Like throwing gas on a fire; the timing could not be worse.
