FIGHTFOR15 Staff replaced by Robot Community Organizers

Building robot McDonald’s staff ‘cheaper’ than hiring workers on minimum wage

A former McDonald’s CEO warned that robots will take over staff jobs at the fast food empire – because it’s cheaper than employing humans.

Ed Rensi has said that buying highly skilled robotics is a cheaper alternative than employing people on minimum wage to work in the company’s worldwide restaurants.

I, for one, welcome our new robot masters.

Zuckerberg is a ‘bot. He is the ‘bot leader.
Before he was the leader of the ‘bots, he was Ronny Macdonald.

The job of a community organizer is to channel the resentment of the mob against a desfnated victim/”oppressor”. It’s fairly mindless but still a job robots will never be able to do. How will a robot ever know/feel resentment?

I don’t care if they go with robots but the price of their food better go down.

If I take my family to McDonalds these days I’m lucky to get out of there with change from a fifty.
It’s cheaper to get a whole meal from our local chicken shack.

No fucking kidding! Every now and then, my wife and I stop at McD’s for a Fish Fillet Sandwich (if we shop when hungry, we buy WAY too much!) Last time we did, the lady in front of us ran up a bill of over $50 just to feed herself and her four kids. I note that the entire crew was in the “chubby-to-fat side”, but event so!

The fight for 15 is a feeble excuse for companies to go to robots to keep costs down. They’re going to robots because they can. They might get cheaper labour with a robot, but that robot (not yet) is not going to go to a McDonalds to purchase a burger. They’ll still have to rely on that unemployed guy to buy that burger.

A dependable part of WalMart’s take is food stamps.
Wonder if McBurgers works that angle too chain wide or is it just up to the local franchisees.

In a decade the good jobs will be all done by foreign nationals. American citizens will be divided into 3 castes – the political/media elite class, the civil servants and the poor.
