Desperate Establishment Seeks to Resurrect Hillary

In Wednesday’s New York Times Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Thomas B. Edsall channels The Sound of Music and unloads a whole pack of serious concern in How Do You Solve a Problem Like Trump? The estimable Mr. Edsall is clearly disturbed someone with the extraordinary curriculum vitae of Hillary Clinton, one of the most powerful women in the world for decades, could possibly lose the election to a vulgar businessman with no political track record and a tasteless combover.

In theory, Donald Trump is eminently beatable. His negative ratings are stratospheric. He is reckless, ignorant of rudimentary policy matters and all too ready to speak without forethought or deliberation.

So how come he beat all other Rep candidates, and now overtakes Hillary? Because he is so eminently beatable?

(…) Hillary Clinton has somehow succeeded in turning the election into a close contest that she could conceivably lose.

So it was not Trump who is winning, it is Hillary who is losing. Trump has no part in his own victory. Yeah, right.
