The Thought Police in Canada

Citing the need to make transgender people “feel safe and secure in who they are,” Canada’s Minister of Justice Jody Wilson-Raybould introduced legislation Tuesday that would prohibit discrimination on the basis of “gender identity” or “gender expression” and make anti-transgender “hate propaganda” punishable by up to two years in prison.

  • Martin B

If they were secure in who they are they wouldn’t be transgender.

    • Justin St.Denis

I think, under this new legislation, what you just said – albeit absolutely true – would be considered transphobic hate speech. 🙂

  • Are trannies all Nazis?

    • Justin St.Denis

So it would seem. So are their enablers in government.

That obnoxious simpleton, Justice Jody , marched out a child , a ten year old Transitioning child to cement her law….. a 10-year old transitioning child thrown into the public square is vulgar child abuse.
This crass opportunism allowing for the exploitation of a confused child is a vile transgressor of the requirement to protect our children. This is unconscionable conduct. There was a time we would shelter our children from the monsters under the bed or those in the ‘closet’ by cuddling the child in our arms not to foist the child into the public glare. !!!!!! SHAME !!!!!!!!
A death-blow to innocence , this child spoke about her deep worries of transgendered children rape, assault and abuse in KINDER-GARDEN ……… Where to the children play ?
!!!!SHAME on the uber-fanatical left ‘progressives’ !!!!!

So publishing stats on trany suicide rates and studies on how its a mental illness will get you 2 years in jail?

So thats good to know, once the laws reach the point that they criminalize facts in favor of feelings then people no longer have any requirement to follow any laws by the gov’t.

    • Icebow

When I was young, ‘tranny’ meant a radio; later, transvestite. What next?

      • Exile1981

usually tanny was short for transmission back in shop class.

        • canminuteman

Which is why we called trannies “gearboxes”.

  • Icebow

They are now under the protection of the Great Turdbrain.

  • V10_Rob

Because up til now assault and murder charges were summarily dropped if the victim turned out be transwhatever…

Hey, I’m a Level 8 Half-Elf Paladin, who am I to judge what others want to make-believe as? But I don’t act out my adventures on the Sword Coast in public, nor do I expect strangers to help me on my quests or otherwise enable and validate my fantasies.

I was going to offer a few tips on avoiding baldric itch but now?….forget it.

  • ntt1

I notice these idiot politicians never quote numbers of gender confused and mentally ill people they are supposedly protecting by removing your right to have a safe bathroom break. the reason is; it is a vanishingly small fraction of a percentage. What these morons have instituted is a dictatorship of the freakish and bizarre.
Has the term cost /benefit analysis ever entered these clowns minds?or is it simply grabbing at straws to remove more normalcy and freedoms from the mainstream?

Numbers matter not in the least, since it is the ongoing march towards the total destruction of the traditional family.

I find it fascinating that the Libs would include what is a probably unconstitutional restriction on speech in a bill purporting to protect the rights of a particular group. There is a fair bit of disconnect here.

    • Justin St.Denis

Progressives are very comfortable with dichotomy and contradiction. It keeps them crazy and enraged.

    • Exile1981

The left is all for restricting free speech of people who they dislike or who don’t play their weird little games.

    • The only reason he’s able to get away with it is because of all the young and inexperienced rookie MP’s blindly pushing his legislative agenda. Justin chose his rookie caucus precisely because they don’t qualify for the job — they were chosen for their ability to take orders not for their gray matter. Many examples — Minister of Defense Harjit Sajjan was the first indication that Justin needed seriously stunned individuals, with lower IQ’s than his own and poor analytical minds.

I would find it hard to believe that Party elders aren’t rolling their eyes at this point, at least privately. Actually I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the more “enlightened” Libs cross the floor at some point. If there’s an ounce of dignity left in the Liberal Party of Canada.

  • It’s happening very fast now.

Call your M.P. and voice your displeasure. It is much easier for them to ignore petitions, e-mails, etc.:

  • canminuteman

    This is awkward:
1 It is hereby recognized and declared that in Canada there have existed and shall continue to exist without discrimination by reason of race, national origin, colour, religion or sex, the following human rights and fundamental freedoms, namely,

    (d) freedom of speech;

  • Spatchcocked

I just love transgender folks to death!
Don’t get me wrong now….I’m serious as can be.

  • DavidinNorthBurnaby

And next, we’ll be telling schizophrenics that the voices are indeed real, its just that the rest of us can’t *hear* them. You’re perfectly okay, Snowflake. :rolleyes

  • DavidinNorthBurnaby

    Shall I, then?
