• Was it something they said?

Too bad the name of a perfectly nice Egyptian goddess has been ruined by a bunch of Islamo-thugs.

      I liked the Mid. 1970’s T.V. show.

      • Hey! You alright? We’ve been worried.

        • Xavier

          Yeah me too.

I have had better weeks, but I’m well enough to be released from the hospital and I hope to be home by tomorrow.
I’ll write something officially when I’m on a white-listed IP addy.
I only get scared when the pros act scared, and they were acting pretty danged funny when I was admitted.

          • That’s good. We’ll have to have a belated 5 state sweep celebration. 😉

          • Shebel

I kinda like when you give me some fucking LIP.
            Don’t stop . I would be lost.

          • Maggat

            Good on ya.

Can you imagine a Christian calling their kid -JESUS ?

You would have to a Perfect Person.

Name your kid Muhammad— and I can’t think of a SIN that is not allowed.

Such is the Glory of Islam.

Hispanics have been naming their sons Jesus (“Hay-SOOSE”) for as long as they’ve been Catholics; it’s a thing in their culture and I don’t think it puts any particular burden on the boy to be perfect. Jesus or Yeshu in Hebrew was a pretty common Hebrew name at the time he lived. The name Joshua which is very popular among Christians is another form of it. I agree though that in all other cultures naming your son Jesus would be seen as very weird. Outside of Hispanic culture it’s just never taken off as a practice.

I was annoyed when they killed of their lovely dog Isis, you know the starting shot on Downtown Abbey. They said she was old but her name was Isis.

I’ve always considered it a silly name for a girl; good for cats and dogs though. The lovable golden lab in the TV series Downton Abbey is called Isis.

Soon the most popular names for babies in America will be Mohammad, Mohummud, Mohammed, Amina, Fatima and Aeisha!
