‘Islam does not belong in Germany’: 60% agree with AfD

Political rivals may brand the right-wing German party AfD xenophobic for claiming that there is “no place for Islam in Germany” in its political program, but 60 percent of the country’s citizens agree with the idea, according to a new poll.
Conducted by the newspaper Bild together with research institute INSA, the poll showed a dramatic change in the attitude of the German population to Islam over the past year. In January 2015, 37 percent of people said that Islam had a place in Germany, but the figure in the latest poll dropped by 15 percentage points to just 22 percent.

I used to think that she was hopelessly misguided, idealistic and naive. No more: she is just plain evil. I pray that no matter what else happens in the future, that woman is made to pay for her betrayal of Germany, and Western civilization in general.

Flaying in the public square with TV cameras rolling does not seem extreme given Merkel’s crimes against her own country.

The same kind of issues exist in Canada. A government gets elected by 39% of the voters, and assumes that that 39% constituency represents the entire country’s viewpoint. It also assumes that it has a mandate to do whatever it pleases.

Rulers need to remember that there are always more citizens than military or politicians combined and that they rule with the consent of the governed and if push comes to shove, that consent can be removed forcibly, and without notice. In short, a little bit of humility is a good thing.

Ask the Lebanese, they allowed in migrants and it cost them their country.

Actually, the influx of Syrian Sunnis tipped the demographic balance against the Shiites, much to Hezbollah’s chagrin. It is an ill wind indeed that doesn’t blow somebody good.

I think Ron reveres to the fact that Lebanon used to be Christian but allowed Palestinians in, about 30 to 40 years ago.
