Jonathan Kay’s Response to “Moderate” Harpoon Siddiqui’s Aga Khan Museum Lecture–and My Rebuttal to the Both of ‘Em

Jonathan Kay’s piece–Don’t blame the media for Islamophobia–has been up on the NatPo site for several days, but showed up in the paper version only today. Kay’s anti-blame advisory is aimed at none other than Harpoon Siddiqui, who has vacated his bully pulpit at the Toronto Star only to mount it in other places, most recently at Toronto’s Aga Khan Museum.

    This “JEWISH PROBLEM” ——
I can’t find much of it anywhere. Nobody that I know is hard core on the Jews.

    This ” MUSLIM PROBLEM “—-
I can’t find anyone that doesn’t have an opinion or a ‘nice’ thing to say.

Why does Kay bookend the two hatreds? 1) He learned to weasel words and concepts at law school and 2) it plays very well with the “elite” crowd and those who would aspire to such status. I’ve been hearing sh*** like this for years from my brother who turned his brain to mush on an endless supply of weed.
