Joe Pags’ Awesome Rant On Bruce Springsteen Canceling Concert Over NC Bathroom Law

springsteen cares more about politics than his fans

Bruce Springsteen recently canceled a concert in North Carolina because North Carolinians don’t want little girls sharing bathrooms with grown men. Liberals have convinced themselves that it’s mean, intolerant and bigoted to ask men to use the men’s restroom and women to use the women’s restroom.

Born In The USA is a heaping pile of camel manure.

      Springsteen has always sucked.
      Fucking New Jersey bullshit.

  • Clink9

Great video. I will be passing it around.

could not stand him from day one
part of the Bill Maher, Whoopi Goldberg, George Clooney, Rosie O’Donnell, Spike Lee, Alec Baldwin, Barbra Streisand faux intelligentsia

    • Clausewitz

Never “Got” Springsteen. Always thought his songs were pretty pedestrian and mono monotonous. Pretty easy to play mostly because there’s nothing there.

the working class hero thing was always too much
‘read he and Meryl Streep have horse farm thingys going ..every body hates them
….and no sax .. that aint what they call rock & roll

      • mauser 98

yes…all of it is three chords or so
as BB King said “it’s the gravy you add on”

      • dance…dancetotheradio

        Fake emotion.
Springsteen always looks like he’s got an obstructed colon when he ‘performs’.

North Carolina , Mississippi laws are not about discrimination .. they are about preventing assaults

  • The “Anti-Whoever” NC Law is not discriminatory – it allows single stall bathrooms to be unisex. If the issue was simply about avoiding persecution of LGBTs in group bathrooms, that would satisfy them.

From a commenter at Ace of Spades HQ [Mike Hammer] re. the NC law:

That’s NOT what HB2 did. First of all, the Charlotte ordinance which touched this off would have COMPELLED all entities which have shower rooms, changing rooms, etc. to make them unisex. Second of all, HB2 only forbids local governments from COMPELLING entities to do so.

ANYONE who wishes to make their facilities unisex is perfectly free to do so. All of the butt-hurt posturing over HB2 is complete bullshit.

Oh, yeah… one other thing… that Charlotte ordinance compelling the sharing of showers, bathrooms, etc.? It was formulated and championed by one ‘Chad Severance’. I use quotes because he has used different names. But to the point, Severance is a CONVICTED child molester. Imagine that.

      • Precisely. Anyone who wishes to cater to the transgender crowd may do so.
        And otherwise, too.

Not much of a rant…it all sounded pretty sane and reasonable to me…

    • Clink9

But it would melt Snowflakes at universities everywhere.

  • Nailed it.

Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams have no difficulty taking money from countries that actually execute homosexuals.

Shame on you Osumashi! Don’t you know that it’s not hypocrisy to act like this when you are a celebrity. Because their fame allows for the message to be spread so effectively that the spread of the message means far more than any minor slips in integrity on their part.

For this reason Sean Penn can be considered a feminist even while he has a well known history of women abuse.
This is also why Suzuki and Gore can become wealthy an have personal carbon footprints the size of Tyrannosaurs but still say that oil workers should lose their jobs.

      • I am now hanging my head in shame for my pointing out my famous betters’ hypocrisy.

I’ll put on my (angora) hair shirt now.

    Great radio voice.

    • Clausewitz

My first thought also. If I had his voice back in the early 80’s I’d still be in radio.

I loved radio when I was a kid.
