Princeton Will Still Use Woodrow Wilson’s Name, But Will Emphasize His Racism

Princeton University was embroiled in the Black Lives Matter-inspired boycotts last year when student activists demanded the removal of Woodrow Wilson’s name from its public policy school because of the former president’s racist views. But after careful consideration of all the complaints, the Ivy League school has decided to keep Wilson’s name but promises to emphasize his “severe deficiencies.”

  • Is ‘horse of a different colour’ racist too?

Remember this. Whenever Martin Luther King’s name is mentioned or evoked, always emphasize his infidelities, the fact that he was a sexual predator and a hypocrite. Then enquire as to why his name was evoked….

His “racism” was the least objectionable part of his character and legacy.

    • Mannie

      He was certainly objectionable.

    • He was an anti-Catholic progenitor of the League of Nations, the UN’s prototype.

Indeed, his bigotry is overshadowed by this.

If this keeps up, nobody will remember any Democrats before 1960.

I guess they can be happy he was a near psychotic Jew hater. Clouds, silver linings and all that. Liberals have to take their victories where they find them.

Wilson wasn’t a racist racist, just a strict eugenicist who let the chips fall where they may.

The lesson being great men can have deficiencies, such a revelation! Perhaps that Democratic bastion Princeton can accept that in say The Donald. Nah, just dreaming.
