Public university to hire more counselors to help students cope with microaggressions

The University of Wisconsin-Madison has pledged to hire more counselors in the wake of students claiming the state’s flagship university is fraught with microaggressions and racial bias.

“I’m accelerating the hiring of additional student support counseling services … for student mental health issues related to diversity and climate,” Chancellor Rebecca Blank recently announced to the campus community. Incoming freshmen will also receive some sort of “cultural competency” training under new diversity initiatives detailed by Blank on March 15.

I almost microaggressed in my pants when I read that.

Yikes! You must be a “colourist”!

Christ, It’s about time the microagressies to to get a hold on their precious hurt feelings and deal with their own fantasies and if need be, deal with the microaggressors by themselves.

You know what I worry about? If I’m gone before the war starts, I worry about who’s going to be using my guns. OTOH, these morons probably couldn’t figure out how to pull the charger and sight with a red dot.

Do what I did, take your kids to the range. Make them proficient, make them able to hunt, and make them into people who can think on their own. The ordinance couldn’t be in better hands that way.

Its the little things that get you.

I suspect that the creation of these positions– counselors related to
issues of diversity and climate, and staff to teach “cultural competence”–
are simply ways to make jobs for the otherwise unemployable people
who graduated with degrees in gender studies. Honestly, what else are
those people equipped to do once they get their absurd degrees? I mean,
besides becoming a government apparatchik, a barista, or a “community

This is the revolution eating itself. These kids learned this idiocy from the university. They wouldn’t be this effed up before they arrived. If i ran the university I would tell any students who had these concerns to go back to their mommy and reapply when they have grown up.

Our public education system forges these snowflakes before they arrive on campus. Stop kidding yourself.

Around 1966 a neighbour just a few houses down went funny one morning and slaughtered his family which included the two kids from my school.
Nobody flew in Counsellor on Choppers to deal with the loss at school , nor was is made worse with a hollow tribute in the gym to bring flowers and candles or the recreational grievers coming by our street to drop their teddy bear and flowers on the lawn to be on the 6:00 pm news .

The school and Psychologists make this a traumatic event to tell children they are suffering so they suffer what is called transference to internalize the deaths or loss when you don’t have the clue what the kids name was .
I actually saw one of the kids sitting on the front lawn with radio and sun glasses on a nice September day just one week earlier.
Then on a Monday morning we head to school by 9:00 and ignore the fire truck and police car. Later we get home and hear what happened and that kid I saw 8 days ago was snuffed out .

When did this madness start to make everyone within a 1/2 mile a co-victim to get help.
The house was torn down as unsaleable and the wide property was made into two duplexes .

Virtually everyone over 40 has a similar story or two. I hear you.
