University student ordered not to put her hand up to ask a question because that violates her classmates’ ‘safe space’

A student was almost kicked out of a meeting after she violated a ‘safe space’ by raising her arm at Edinburgh University.

Vice_president_of_academic_affairs_Imogen_WilsonImogen Wilson wanted to make a point at Thursday’s student council session when she was told off by officials.

The vice-president for academic affairs at the university’s Student Association was accused of failing disabled students by not responding to an open letter.

She immediately raised her arm to disagree but was made the subject of a ‘ludicrous’ complaint and told not to make the gesture again.

Clearly she was anti-BDS and deserved to be silenced.

You know, eventually, we are going to have to descend on these people and beat them senseless with baseball bats.

I was going to comment the same thing until I read yours. Yes. They are becoming like the walking dead. And if someone doesn’t come up with an antidote soon … Well,… aim for the brain.

By all indications, their brain cases are empty, so aim for the spinal cord just below that melon perched on their shoulders.

There has to be a purge of Progressives and Leftists conducted at all learning institutions in the West.

I think it’s too far gone for that. Just defund them, they will wither, and sane people can create new institutions of higher learning. There is non higher learning going on at our schools anymore.

There’s a serious famine there. The protein would be mightily appreciated.

She should have known that asking questions is haram to the Left.

  • maybe she just had to pee….

  • OWM67

This young woman is lucky not to have been expelled! Throwing her arm up in the air was clearly aimed at ridiculing those without arms and privileging herself with the ability to command attention with this gesture. At a minimum she should receive a police warning, receive sensitivity counseling, and be placed on a watch list for at least 6 months.

I guess that screaming out “Excuse me…” and then continuing regardless of the response is much less “threatening” than attempting to be polite and raising one’s hand. Etiquette is another casualty of political correctness.
