Global tax to fund UN bureaucrats

A friend writes,

Please take a minute to help with a cause that is very important to me.

An official United Nations panel has issued a final report that revealed it considered a GLOBAL TAX that would directly fund UN agencies and bureaucrats. Fewer proposals at the UN are more dangerous than this one.

Having an independent source of revenue from large financial institutions but also from everyday people will only widen this divide between governments, that tend to be conservative, and the UN bureaucracy that tends to be radical.

This is one of the greatest threats to democracy and to the unborn that we have ever seen.

That’s why I’ve joined with the Center for Family and Human Rights (C-Fam) to fight against this tax. We can stop the Global UN Tax if we act together and we act now. Will you join me and sign the Stop the Global UN Tax Petition today?

Just think of all the bureaucrats they could employ.

  • I sure hope this isn’t true, Canada should not be paying anything to that den of thieves.

    • It’s as true as they can make it. And it’s not a global government so much as a global elite that can indulge itself on the backs of local taxpayers. In Canada, we can vote for or against such things.

      • mobuyus

Someone voted in someone that preens to indulge a global elite.

      • DMB

Not yet but if people like Justin Trudeau get their way Canada would be under the complete authority of the United Nations.

      • Maggat

On October 19 we voted for it.

I keep reminding people that that is really what any “climate change” tax amounts to. Call it carbon tax, cap and trade, or whatever, its goal is an unelected global government.

    • The Butterfly

Justin will try to show “leadership” by making Canada be the first to sign up for this bullshit.

  • Kaye92

The UN has taxation powers? Cool. One world government, here we come!

    • V10_Rob

I try to do my part. Any time someone mentions the United Nations (typically that they should ‘Do Something’), I ask who they voted for to represent them at the UN. Usually I get blank looks or hand waving, but hopefully the thought remains and quietly festers.

  • Norman_In_New_York

I can’t see Congress enacting such a levy no matter what is voted by the UN.

    • mobuyus

The next thing the un will do is vote to give themselves a raise.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Lucky you, we’ll get fleeced up here.

  • infedel

Ban the OIC dominated UN…the agenda is clear.

  • mauser 98

    sure… it’s called Climate Change

    • dance…dancetotheradio

      Is that Tommy Douglas?

  • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Hoo boy, you just know Mr Suck Up to the UN will be all over *this*. Hang on to your wallet. 🙁

    …from 2010

    IPCC official Ottmar Edenhofer :
“The next world climate summit in Cancun is actually
an economy summit during which the distribution of the world’s resources
    will be negotiated.”

Another fool who still thinks that a petition changes something.
