North Korea releases propaganda film showing Washington under nuclear attack

coin toss

The four-minute video, set to jaunty music, romps through the history of US-Korean relations and ends with a digitally manipulated sequence showing a missile surging through clouds, swerving back to the earth and slamming into the road in front of Washington’s Lincoln Memorial.

The US Capitol building explodes in the impact and a message flashes up on the screen in Korean: “If US imperialists budge an inch toward us, we will immediately hit them with nuclear (weapons).”

All our enemies are in the movie business it seems.

I like it…except we can’t rely on the Chinese to do it (although they would in a heartbeat, if they could get away with it) unless we want a world dominated by them and their insufferable arrogance, atrocious taste in architecture, and lukewarm attitude toward human rights even more than it already is.

So then according to modern Pentagon directives the US has the right to pre-emptive strikes if they are threatened. Works for me.

The North Koreans tend to conveniently forget that the Americans have many more bigger, faster, and badder nukes, when they get all saber-rattly like this against the U.S. and it’s most important Eastern ally, Japan. It’s probably due to brain damage from infant malnutrition.
