  • I’m for Texas!

    • You should see the wimmens they’s got down there.

If you are into that whole “chicks with guns” thing, you really need to check out Tucson, AZ.
I remember standing in line at a grocery store, and noticing that EVERY lady in-line with me was packing firepower.
It must have been a show us your Colt Peacemaker and get 10% off day.
‘Daisy Duke’ shorts, cowboy boots, and a nickel-chrome .45 strapped to their hip tends to make any woman just a little bit more attractive.
        I don’t know why.

As a Canadian I can only dream of Jeannie.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

What was it about Barbara Eden in that genie costume, or Elizabeth Montgomery?

          • dance…dancetotheradio

That goes back to the Ginger or Mary-Anne thing.
Barbara Eden was by far the more attractive woman.
They are both dead now so Louis CK can posit the question of which one he would fuck first if he saw both of them in the morgue.
What a fucking ghoul that man is.
No, he’s an evil man who needs to bashed about the head with a sock full of soap or quarters.
Some comedians who are funny at first find a way to go over the line.
            Mitch Hedberg never did.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

That Ginger and Mary Anne question never interested me as much as how much money it would take for me to bone Mrs Howell.
BTW, Barbara Eden is STILL alive, and doesn’t look THAT BAD for an 84-year-old chick!

          • dance…dancetotheradio

I’m so sorry that I didn’t know that.
We’re probably older than Mrs. Howell was in that show.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

            Nope, we are safe!
She was bouncing off of 70 when she took that role.
Now do you want to feel REALLY old?
            It’s a mind blower.

          • lolwut?
          • Drunk_by_Noon

It’s a false choice because NOBODY ever answers Ginger.
That’s the finest example of illusory free-will that I could imagine.
Yes, you do have a choice, but any rational person will always make the SAME choice, and it ain’t Ginger.
            It’s never Ginger!

          • lolwut?

Mary-Anne is alive, I met her at the Vancouver boat show a couple years ago next to the Minnow.

          • dance…dancetotheradio

Sometimes, I love to be wrong.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

            Did ya fuck her?

It is funny that the most minor character in the series, when it began, is now the best liked by far.

          • lolwut?

3 hour tour bro…….. Woke up on a beach on somewhere along the coast
but thankfully I had a phone made of coconuts and got rescued.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

I have never looked, but there HAS to be some really ‘off the hook’ fan fiction written about just that.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

There is something about those two ladies, especially if you were born in the 1960’s or 1970’s (assuming that you also grew up watching the reruns) that imparted a very specific ‘kink’ to what kind of woman you find attractive.
It’s a very weird phenomenon that is really specific to North American males born in that ten-to-fifteen-year stretch.

Why stop at Texas? Go for broke, propose making it a Constitutional amendment.

Force them to take a stand for or against it.

  • 3MileLimit

Like I’ve said at least three other times: if you don’t live in Texas, and you vote conservative, pack your sh^t and move your tail end down here!

    • Drunk_by_Noon

That’s all good and well, but as a Californian, I just never saw the attraction of Baja Oklahoma. 😉

      • 3MileLimit

I see that Cali has done a number on your “saw” parts. Head over to Houston and let me help physically adjust that fer ya, smart guy =)

    • Minicapt

It’s huge, 10k square miles larger than the Province of Alberta.

The linked article (‘God Bless Texas’) says:
‘Judges had previously told community members their [the Muslim Tribunals’] work is non-binding and they only deal with civil disputes like marriage.’

The sharia (aka Reliance of the Traveller) says (w43.5), highlight mine:

‘(…) areas where Muslims reside and there is a remnant of Islam’s rules—even if this is limited to marriages and what pertains to them, for example—are considered Muslim lands.’

  • Frank Roper

This is just right wing disinformation and fearmongering. The session ended in June 2015 and will not be in session until Jan to June 2017. So it is impossible that this is true. Are you aware that Sharia courts have jurisdiction ONLY on religious matters between Muslims where civil courts are NOT ALLOWED to make decisions on how a religion should interpret and enforce its religious laws? In no way does it override a nation’s criminal laws. And Governor Abbott, who is Catholic, well knows that Catholics do not recognize divorce and a marriage between Catholics can only anulled by a religious court under Canon Law and a church tribunal of judges. And the government DOES recognize those decisions. Same as with Jewish courts. http://www.pewforum.org/2013/04/08/applying-gods-law-religious-courts-and-mediation-in-the-us/
