Brussels: What We Can Learn From Today’s Attacks

Europe is reeling from the latest terrorist attacks, this time against Brussels, now confirmed to be a terrorist attacks.  Three blasts have been reported so far, two in the Zaventem airport and one at the Maelbeek metro station some 500 meters from the European Parliament.

Here are three takeaways from this most recent tragic attack.

  • Now this looks like a whole bunch of that “Islamophobia nonsense”

    Chief Saunders

    • JoKeR

Prime Sinister Shiny Pony will probably tell them they have to look inside themselves to find what they have done to offend these poor migrants and drive them to do what they did as I has absolutely nothing to do with the Religion of Peace™.

  • ntt1

If Islamists and all other Muslims follow the same book where is the structural break between terrorists and all
If all Muslims start Friday prayers begging Allah to defeat the infidel and bring on shariah , again where is the disconnect?Trump was vilified for suggesting that in the light of the difficulty of telling them apart,a moretorium on immigration should be in place.a great idea although I doubt there is a way to differentiate either you follow the disgusting Koran or you don,in which case you become apostate and as I dangered as the Rest of
    Of us

  • El Martyachi

Considering it’s Belgium, they outta explicitly state that help isn’t for Jihadis. Or would that be Islamophobic…. so confusing, these times.

    • Drunk_by_Noon

Nice sentiments, but if that “help” does not specifically exclude Muslims, then I’m not willing to “help”.
Will you be helping co-conspirators escape?
Will you get murdered for your car?
The Muslim Boston bombers did just that by carjacking and kidnapping a passer by, that they then debated killing, but they let him live because he wasn’t white.

      • El Martyachi

        … seems reasonable.

  • pdxnag

The ideology here cannot be defeated any more than you can remove the word murder from the dictionary. You can only wall off those who profess faith in it, and plan for their numbers to diminish over time.

    • Clink9

My thoughts on 9/11 were, bullets in the correct brains.

  • Dana Garcia

Here are my 3 takeaway lessions:

    Deport, deport, deport.

    • Da Cleaner

      Sanitize, de-Islamize!

  • Hard Little Machine

There is nothing to be learned.

  • G

“driving more people into the arms of terrorist groups. Public confusion and panic exacerbates the problem.”

Oh shut up! Just another safe, comfortable, media-holier-than-thou lecturing the “little people”.

  • G2

That was a very disappointing article. “Islamism” is a weasel word. There is Islam, that’s it. No “ism”, no moderate, no radical, no extreme – just Islam. You could ask Artie Erdogan, he’d agree.

    • Tom Forsythe

But there is a distinction between the Muslim who truly believes that nonsense and the Muslim who goes along because the penalty for apostasy is death.

      • G2

Once the ones who believe “that nonsense” (that’s their religion by the way) are in charge the ones who go along will be extra glad to go along. Too bad for you and your distinctions.

      • Alain

For me it amounts to the same thing. One group actively carries out the dictates of Islam and the other aids and abets the first group in one way or another, even remaining silent is aiding them. If the second group were any where near as numerous as we are told, they have the numbers to overpower the first group.

    • Clink9

Crazy. I booked a trip online recently for the Eurostar train and have been getting lots of emails on special prices to Brussels.

They will be really hurting there now.

      • Justin St.Denis

Why the hell would you be feeding the EU tourism industry when the EU will simply turn around and fund more Islamization projects with your bucks?

Tourism Boycott of the EU might help bring weak governments to their knees sooner, which would be a good thing. Once Europe show signs of a will to live, we can resume tourism support.

        • Clink9

Ya, it’s too bad but with Obamy the same can said about my favorite place to go, the U.S.

I’ll be there about a month after Europe.

  • Etobicoke_Gladiator

Islam is totalitarianism, the koran is this cult’s terrorism manual, and ISIS is its purest expression. That’s an obvious “lesson”. I look forward to a day with no Islam in Canada, the USA, and Europe.

  • Gary

Justin is bent on bringing in another 175,000 refugees even if it kills us.

  • Norman_In_New_York

This is not about law enforcement or criminal justice. This is war and it has to be fought accordingly using any and all means to achieve victory.

    • Justin St.Denis

It’s time to make an example of particularly odious, Islam-supporting politicians. And video the “re-education” attempts so that the collectivist minded Progressives understand what is at stake. Use your imagination as to what I might be metaphorically referencing…

“What We Can Learn From Today’s Attacks”?

IMHO no one has adequately answered that question.

I think the answer is, if you let them into the country, or God forbid hire one, you better make sure you are well insured and that it includes coverage for frivolous lawsuits, armed assaults and even bombings.
