Rob Ford moved to palliative care

TORONTO – What a fighter!

If there’s still time on the clock in any football game or political battle, you’ll never find Rob Ford — player, coach or politician — giving up.

The former mayor is proving that once again.

Councillor Ford’s family say he’s been moved from the cancer ward on the 14th floor at Mount Sinai Hospital to palliative care on the fourth floor.

“It’s not looking good,” said someone on the inside.

We all know the drill. Best Mayor ever.

I’m a cancer survivor (so far) now watching a close friend of mine die as his spreads through his body. I wouldn’t wish this fate on anybody. But there could be a few exceptions in the Arab world.

I wish for you to stay cancer free and healthy as can be. I watched my father suffer through it and finally succumb to what started off as lung cancer, but spread to his brain. May your friend recover.

    • Stay healthy.

If you pray, remember Rob Ford in your prayers. He is a genuinely good man, and the best mayor Toronto has had in my lifetime (which goes quite a ways back).
