SC bill would hold sponsors liable if refugees from terror states commit crimes, Hamas-linked CAIR enraged

Foes of the bill “say the measure is out of character for a state that often espouses the importance of Christian hospitality and loving your neighbor.” Is Christian hospitality, then, a mandate for suicide?

…Sponsoring Sen. Kevin Bryant said the bill has three components: a registry of all refugees; civil liability for sponsors of refugees from counties considered state sponsors of terror by the federal government (currently Iran, Sudan and Syria) for crimes committed by refugees; a prohibition on the state spending any money on refugees and their families.

We need the same thing here as well.

  • Oh no! CAIR is angry? What have we done!

      Angry Arabs….what else is new?

  • canminuteman

I wouldn’t take them at all. There are something like 57 “Islamic Republics” in the world. They don’t need to some here at all.

Great idea! We should have the balls to do that here (but we won’t because too many Canadians are weenies). I bet when you make people put their money where their mouth is, so to speak, less would be willing to sponsor refugees from the ME.

” Is Christian hospitality, then, a mandate for suicide?”

Seems to be the case these days.

It’s the old guilt-trip-a-Christian deal. It doesn’t work on most of us.

This is genius! This is the perfect way to stop these Catholic church outreach programs from continuing to make money hand-over-fist from settling these muslims. I hope this passes. Whoever thought of this needs a raise. I mean no disrespect to any Catholics on this blog. I, myself, am a Christian, but our leaders have sold their souls.

Great development, It is vital that virtue signaling progressives be made pay the full cost of the impact importing barbarians has on the host country. Turdo must be held at least politically. liable for the outrages his pet muslims inflict ,and they will,

PM Shithead wants to bring them he can sell his car and pay for them. I prefer my tax dollars go to some crackhead on the DTES.

OK, then let’s go to the next, to me obvious step, and hold the Federal Gov’t responsible.Damn I’d love to be around for the 25-25 years, it’s going to be a real riot.

That state went heavily for Trump.

Oh that’s rich: “…the measure is out of character for a state that often espouses the importance of Christian hospitality…” They’re not suggesting that SC only pass laws that conform to Christian theological principles, are they? Make up your minds.

As for the conditions, what’s the problem? They’re entirely superfluous. Don’t they keep telling us that there’s no way the refugees are or could become involved in terrorist activities? That they’re all highly educated with in-demand skills, so there’ll be no drain on public welfare?
