Islam a factor in Islamist terrorism

In Canada, we have seen a move by the National Council of Canadian Muslims to encourage media to use the term “Daesh” as a substitute for Islamic State, ISIS or ISIL.

Praising the Toronto Star, Amira Elghawaby, NCCM’s communications director, said the paper “has shown tremendous leadership in being the first major Canadian media organization to take such a definitive stand about how it refers to the terrorist group.”

Islam has nothing to do with Islam.

This is the same group that was called CAIR and just changed their name after they got caught funding hamas terrorism by the 2008 FBI trial .

Sheema Kahn jumped ship from CAIR but was with CAIR since 9/11 and used the CBC for dawah to be the voice of the moderate muslims in canada.

The NCCM supported the Toronto-18 muslims terrorists as innocent and victims of anti-muslim bigotry in a posy 9/11 era. The NCCM has defended almost every terrorist in Canada. Omar Alghabra is a buddy of CAIR and was wit the the CAF which supported hezballah .

The RCMP should just start watching the News to find terrorists because CAIR and Khan aren’t shy to support terrorists and incite muslim youths to terrorism in Canada. CAIR supported Maher Arar even when Omar Khadr fingered Arar as being at a al-Qaeda camp in Afghan .
Who the hell needs CSIS when these islmofascists boast about terrorism for allah .

We had this problem in Australia – Tony Abbott, the most conservative Prime Minister since Robert Menzies, insisted on calling the Mohemmedan death cult of ISIL/ISIS “Daesh”, because some bright spark told him it was an INSULTING term.

No, Tony, it was to lead thought away from “Islamic” State, and things like that, you fucking idiot.

Your opponent, the commo wee Bill Shorten, gleefully embraced “Daesh”, and he also said it was an INSULTING terminology. Just lead the sheep away from thoughts of Islam = beheadings.

Tony Abbott was a fucking idiot, whom I fully supported. He was kicked out mid-term in a Cabinet coup by Malcolm Turnbull, who was (surprise, surprise!) former chief of Goldman Sachs Australia.

Turnbull just disgusts me. Who do I vote for next? Australia desperately needs a Trump Train, otherwise we are all going to slide into a politically correct abyss – and not survive.

    • Shebel

Sounds like Australia is as fucked up as Canada.
We just elected a very pretty idiot.

      • Maurice Miner

Ours is not even pretty. BUT, he’s from the Conservative side (ha! fucking ha!) so all is copacetic.

        • Shebel

Ours is a total idiot that is one step up from a Communist.

It was developed as a insult shortly (about a week after ISIS was invented). It is an acronym created from the Arabic form of the “Islamic State in Iraq and Syria”: “ad-Dawlah al-Islāmiyah fī ‘l-ʿIrāq wa-sh-Shām”, “… it is considered derogatory, as it resembles the Arabic words Daes (lit. “one who crushes, or tramples down, something underfoot”) and Dāhis (loosely translated: “one who sows discord”). Within areas under its control, ISIL considers use of the acronym Daesh punishable by flogging or cutting out the tongue.”

      • Maurice Miner

Minicapt, I would really, really like for that story to be true, because that was what we were fed at the time.

Can it be independently verified that it is an insult – in which case I will apologise personally to that fucking week-kneed idiot, Tony Abbott (care of back benches, Parliament House, Canberra).

If it “resembles” the Arabic word “Daes”, which you point out is lit. “one who crushes, or tramples down, something underfoot”, isn’t this precisely their modus operandi?

Are they not crushing and trampling down things? How is this an insult?

Indeed, going to the next step, you say:

“Dāhis (loosely translated: “one who sows discord”). “

I mean, seriously bro, these fucks DO sow discord.

        How is that an INSULT?

Congratulations for regurgitating the WTF? propaganda about the use of the word “Daesh”. Go on, prove to us that it is an “insult”.

Minicapt, not attempting to be offensive to you, but this is propaganda, mate!

Even Tony Fucking Abbott fell for it.

        • Minicapt

The reason I gave you the extra details, albeit from Wiki, was to tell of what I had dug up at the time. If that is insufficient, You’ll have to explore further on your own.
The Saudis were early users of the word, because it was, in their minds, an insult.

          • Maurice Miner

OK, we appear to have the same use of “Daesh” mandated in the country of cheese-eating surrender-monkeys:

            The money quote:

“The Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is a bit of a misnomer, says France, as it lends the imprimatur of Islam to a group that the vast majority of Muslims finds despicable. “This is a terrorist group and not a state. I do not recommend using the term Islamic State because it blurs the lines between Islam, Muslims, and Islamists,” France’s Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said in a statement.”

WHAT line between Islam, Muslims and Islamists???

          • Minicapt

Tilt your head to the left, let your jaw hand open with a little drool, and squint hard with your right eye. You should just be able to make it out through the fug.

  • Shebel

‘Daesh’— The sad fact is that it will fool most people.

    What is a Daesh ?
It is a Muslim that wants kill you.
It is a Muslim that wants to rape your baby.

  • marty_p

Toronto Star (and Crescent) has an Op Ed today that tells us that angry white men are a greater danger to Canadians than Islamic Terrorism.

“We must ask ourselves: Why has the Muslim become the paradigmatic figure of the “terrorist,” even though, according to internal CSIS documents described in the Toronto Star, right-wing and white-supremacist violence is actually a greater security threat in Canada than violence by Muslims? ”

    • tom_billesley

“the paradigmatic figure of the “terrorist”…..another pretentious history-of-art graduate.

  • tom_billesley

How about a move to encourage media to use the term “Hamas Canada” as a substitute for “National Council of Canadian Muslims”?

  • tom_billesley

Is the term for a member of Daesh as Dae-shite or a Daesh-bag?
