How can Gavin hate the comments when there are none ? Besides, he is a bit of goof.
I think – or hope – he’s being ironical.
Haha—I’m sure he is. You up early or just stayed up late?
Do you mind if I ask you a question ? You probably already know. .
Heh? That is not much of a answer. So—does simpatico ring a bell ? I am so curious that it is driving me crazy. I am crazy anyway. Keep me sane. Please.
Sympatico.ca was Bell Canada’s version of AOL, an Internet portal. It’s still around but not quite the same: http://www.sympatico.ca
I read the writers who are good on the subjects I like at Takimag. The comments good or bad are like coping with a huge load of gravel.
Not my job man.
A funny column by Gavin, sure to get him in trouble. One point though, is his inclusion of “da Jews” in his list. Much of what he says about Jewish leftists is true.
But why woud he include Jews left in a column about commentators? For example, he refers to the “Jew New York Times”, and correctly says that the paper is pro-Islamic and anti-Jewish. But the left-wing paper is part of the powerful media establishment. The left-wing paper has nothing to do with comments per se. The people making comments lack power.
As well, as seen in the “comments” sections in Canada’s media cartel, pro-Jewish commentators are few. A reading of CBC News and Globe and Mail comments shows that nearly all comments are anti-Israel and made by non-Jews. The pro-Israel side is heavily outnumbered.
CBC is going people to use their real name to comment from now on.
I have been banned by the CBC for at least 2 years and I was nice and polite.
Het, it figures. That’s the CBC.
They should merge with Rabble.
Jews have better things to do than trawl the sewers of hatred. The haters are impervious to reason, so why bother?
Maybe if the Jews stopped persecuting the starving Palestinians— we could have an International circle -jerk.
Lol. I had to look up the definition of “circle-jerk”. Learn someth, ing new every day.
No doubt Justin and Obama would be sitting ‘side by each’.
They would sit opposite each other, playing “Patty-cake”.
That’s called a climate change conference.
He means the comments at Taki’s, which blame the “JOOOOOZ!!!!” for everything. You have to read Taki’s regularly to “get” this particular column. Which you are all doing weekly because I write there, right? 🙂
Kathy, I have bookmarked Taki about three months ago, and have started to read the articles on a regular basis. But I must admit to ignoring their comment up to now. So I misunderstood some of Gavin’s article, I fear.
I used to read WND, too, until they stiffed you.
I would comment but I’m boycotting comments threads now!
And, yes, I realize the irony of using a comments section to comment on not commenting!
You and Sideshow Bob.
I got up on a soapbox the other day to proclaim my humility in the loudest voice I could.
