Republicans Launch Ad Comparing Trump To Hitler

A super PAC with longtime Republican ties is funding an ad comparing Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler. The ad switches back and forth between Trump and Hitler, comparing the similarity of their soundbites.

Dilbert creator Scott Adams compares Trump to Hitler and writes about “The Trump Riots That are Mostly My Fault

The Independent says racism is responsible for Trump’s wins (just like Hitler).

  • The GOP has lost it.

If Trump takes over the GOP he should make sure these guys will never get work from the party and whomever works with them loses the support of the party.

  • Drunk_by_Noon

Hitler brought unity to his Party too.

    • Xavier

The moment I saw this article, I thought of you. 😉

But really, they’re losing their shit. It’s insane out there.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Hitler memes just never get old.
I used to not enjoy them as much because I thought if people made too many insane and incorrect comparisons to Hitler that it would diminish the real horror of Nazism, but I now realize that we are already well past that point and that I just need to embrace the change.
We need to fight fascism by embracing our own inner Hitler, or at least that’s what I learned from the last round of college protests.

In all seriousness, if Trump really were the next Hitler, you wouldn’t know it this early in the process.
Apparently controlling our own borders makes anyone Hitler, so in that light we should all stand up, and like Kurt Douglass in the movie Spartacus, announce that we are all Hitler.
I notice that nobody is called Stalin.

  • This is cynical manipulation of public opinion by means of false analogies.

But that is what progressives do. They can’t help themselves. The autocorrect functions in their programming cannot be turned off. They must do what they are programmed to do and nothing else.

      • And the worst thing is that it works. Students and sundry uneducated wretches imagine that what the progressives advocate is the summum bonum, the absolute truth and good possible, the moral and wise thing to do.

  • andycanuck

BTW, the Scott Adams piece is a satire mocking the “Trump = Hitler” crowd and it’s well worth the read.

Hitlers last dog was an Alsatian named Blondi….in WW 1 he had a little terrier named Fuchsl…
I’ve had Alsatians all named Max….and one Terrier named Max.
I had a blonde German girlfriend named Eva once…(true)…..
I can go all verklempt when pondering certain disappointing cultural changes I see about me and know I could willingly terminate the miserable lives of the perpetrators of said alterations to our essence.
Yes…. a lead pill for them then back to finishing my slice of SchwarzWaldKirschTorte……
Does this make me a boy from Brazil?

    • No – so long as one doesn’t blame the Jews and want to kill them all.

German culture is not Hitler’s. Germany has given the world many good and even great things. In fact, many Jews from M. Mendelsohn to H. Heine, and don’t forget A. Einstein, were a strong part of German culture. Hitler was a freak, who managed to bring out the worst streaks in Germans.

    Hitler had better looking hands.

    • Justin St.Denis

But a little dick and just one small ball.

  • Justin St.Denis

If you haven’t been called Hitler by an under-25 yet, you must not get out much!

    • Clink9

For me, my proudest moment was “Archie Bunker!” from a brother in law.

  • Norman_In_New_York

So the Republican establishment is hellbent on making Hitler look good.

    • Of course not. The comparison of Trump to Hitler on the basis that the former advocates exclusion of Muslims as the latter advocated exclusion of Jews – this is unfair and insulting to Jews, most of all. Jews did not murder and rape like the Muslims are doing.

  • I don’t think the Democrats would even stoop so low to defeat Trump. Republican establishment surrenders more to the Left-wing political corrections system than the Left does. Anyone believing that a menagerie of two-second snippets of Trump’s words taken out of context — not even quoting an entire sentence — is a factual representation, is a brainless moron.

Mainstream media = tabloid media. And the GOP apparently believes tabloid media like a bunch of semi-literate buffoons.

I wasn’t sure if Trump was on the up and up at 1st, even now I’m not sure. But….. if he is a plant then Cruz’s siding with the protestors killed cruz as a canidate. It showed cruz was not on the up and up… so at this point i’m willing to risk a chance on trump knowing that if he isn’t on the level he still can’t be as bad as hillary.

    • Clausewitz

Yep, that’s pretty much the journey I’ve taken over the past six month’s. When some progressive gets all up in my face about Trump, my only retort is, “Really? Hillary Clinton?”. They just don’t have a come back for that.

      • Good one.

      • Exile1981

So I’m not the only one who thinks this election cycle is a giant mind game?

        • Clausewitz

Not so much a game but as one big cluster fuck.

    • Yes.

  • BillyHW

Wait a minute, I thought George Bush was Hitler. How many people can be Hitler at the same time?

    • Alain

Please not not leave out Harper, as he was also supposed to be Hitler.

      • BillyHW

OMG, I totally forgot that Harper was Hitler too.

  • mikeh420

You know Donald’s a threat to these ILLIBERALS when they compare him to Old Dolf.

“I’ve got a pen and a pad of Exec Orders,,I’ll bypass Congress,,,” Which African Dictator owns that soundbite?
