Diversity u̶n̶d̶e̶r̶ Attack: Stabbing at Canadian Forces Facility May Have Nothing To Do With Islam Motive

Developing – “Comments” were made by the perp suggesting a diversity related motive.

Chief Mark Saunders said one man is under arrest after two members of the Canadian Forces were stabbed in uptown Toronto earlier on Monday.

Saunders said the unprovoked attack took place at around 3:30 p.m. at a military recruitment centre near Yonge and Sheppard. The chief also said the 27-year-old suspect uttered “certain comments” that are of concern, but declined to say what they were.

“Police working with RCMP, OPP and CSIS after 2 Canadian Forces members attacked”

I hope this wasn’t one of the RCMP’s “Free range Jihadis”

Update –  “Some heard him say, ‘Praise Allah’ and others heard ‘Allah’ or ‘Aly,’

Like Justin has told us, we need to understand what we have done to drive them to that and understand things from their perspective rather than our own.

So before you condemn them, remember that it is all your fault!

    • tom_billesley

“Know your enemy, then blow them away.”
In Justin’s mind, “Know your enemy, then blow them”.

  • ontario john

The Globe and Mail website finally mentioned it, but closed comments right away. Our media at work. Must not let anyone mention islam. Maybe Trudeau will rush to Toronto for a selfie with muslim groups, to show his support against any signs of Islamophobia because of this incident. Its getting safer for Canadian soldiers to serve overseas than be in Canada. Thank you Trudeau for bringing in thousands more.

    • Justin is perfectly justified in attacking Islamophobia. After all, tens of thousands of Muslims have been murdered in Canada every time this happens. We already have more than 250,000 Muslims in concentration camps in Canada who are subjected to slave labour, and later executed. Hundreds of Mosques have been burned to the ground, and Christians such as the Yazidis are chopping off Muslim heads and sexually enslaving their women and children on a daily basis.

If you are going to criticize Justin Trudeau, then at least stick to the facts!

      • WalterBannon

        are you describing utopio

      • I can see that you speak without hyperbole.

        • I only speak with hyperbole when I speak with hyperbole. Apart from that, if you put a bullet in Justin’s head I will pay for the bullet. Nope, not kidding. I’ve seen two communist revolutions in my lifetime and dealt with both as a total pacifist. It doesn’t solve anything — the only thing the commies understand is a bullet in their heads. Three strikes and you’re out.

          • When his backers get tired of him and he starts losing his hair (like his dad did), THEN watch him squirm.

      • Yazidis are not Christians. Other than that, your post is excellent!

        • I guess it’s some sort of “syncretic” religion, no? Everybody calls them “Christians” so I assumed it was some sort of Christian syncretism. Maybe I’m confusing the group with something else…

          • No – check out the wikipedia article on this.

  • Exile1981

So was he one of Justin’s 50k syrian house guests?

    • No idea – latest – “Some heard him say, ‘Praise Allah’ and others heard ‘Allah’ or ‘Aly,’

      • andycanuck

He wants Kate & Allie put back on the air!

        • kkruger71

Me too? Guess that makes me a terrorist sympathizer.

        • It was a good show;)

      • marty_p

We got “the big speech” about “not jumping to conclusions and being Islamophobic racists” from Newstalk 1010’s) John (I refuse to come out of the closet) Moore this morning.

    • lolwut?

      Let’s hope so.

The Liberals will have a hell of a lot of explaining to do.

      • If it is so, they will forcefully suppress the fact.

  • canminuteman

4900 Yonge Street. That’s where I was enlisted.

    • Thank you for serving (I don’t know why Canadians don’t have the habit of saying that the way they do in the U.S., but we should — and no, I’m not Military. Just a sign of civilian respect).

      • vimy

I tried it once and they all looked at me like i was fucking crazy

        • Come to think of it, last time I was invited to the Legion the idea simply never popped into my head. Everybody was busy looking at the old hooker sitting at the end of the bar.

    • Miss Trixie

      Thank you for serving.

    • Man_with_Hat

One of the officers and a bunch of enlisted that work in that building at the recruitment office as well as another MOD office there, are members at our Legion just across Yonge Street. There’s an executive meeting tomorrow so I’ll get more details.

      • Please tell us all you manage to glean.

    • Minicapt

Anything to get out of Toronto?
Visited there several times when I was recruiting in Windsor.

      Cheers

      • canminuteman

In the ten years I spent in the regular army I don’t recall meeting anyone else from Toronto. (I am actually from Pickering, the first town east of Toronto on Lake Ontario). But when I was a platoon commander, it seemed that half my platoon was from Cape Breton.

  • SDMatt

    CNN is blaming Trump.

    • Clausewitz

      “Surprise, surprise, surprise”.

    • robins111

Pretty sure after the liberal thumb suckling stops, the media will be bawling abut it being Harper’s fault.

  • V10_Rob

“Two Canadian Forces personnel are under investigation for islamophobia after they bled on an innocent man’s knife”

    • Canadian

      LOL!!!!!

    • I bet Justin is looking into it.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Uh, how will Peter Mancrush announce this, Alex?

    • moraywatson

Expect to see numerous self inflicted and/or unwitnessed “attacks” against hijabis and mosques, in response.

    • Kathy Prendergast

Can you imagine if they’d done what that Israeli man did, and pulled the knife out and stabbed him back with it? Pity they didn’t.

  • Ann

If both the RCMP + CSIS were contacted, then, it sounds like they didn’t have what appears to be a Quaker full of oats + fibre going after the military for some unknown reason by stabbing two armed forces personnel.

    • andycanuck

Don’t make excuses for those people, Anna!

      Society of Friends, my ass!!!

  • SDMatt

Incarcerate the islamic perp at 24 Sussex or McCallum’s place.

    • andycanuck

Except Moslems can’t drink booze so that leaves out McCallum’s place.

    • You are sick! Do you want McCallum to wake up one morning missing his head?!! (Oops, maybe not such a bad idea — it might result in better policy. Sorry).

      • andycanuck

Well, it worked in the Godfather and SCTV‘s parody of it.

  • Alain

Come on Saunders, fess up to what those two words were. After all they have become very familiar to most of us. Those two Arabic words have been used far too often to be swept under the rug.

  • john s

Or maybe he said Aly Hu akbar! Seriously, how messed up do you have to be to will yourself to hear Aly instead of Allah?

  • WalterBannon

I am sure he was just a star wars fan, saying admiral akbar, and looking for comicon information

  • And it begins.

CBC and CTV will work over-time to make PM Hair-Boy look good over this if they cannot deny it outright.

  • lolwut?

Guys relax, it wasn’t terrorism, the witnesses just misheard what he said.

He was really shouting, “I hate mondays”.

  • Kathy Prendergast

“Some heard him say, ‘Praise Allah’ and others heard ‘Allah’ or ‘Aly,’

Obviously he was saying “Ally”; he was a deranged fan of Callista Flockart’s quirky 1990s sitcom Ally McBeal and never got over it being taken off the air.

  • Kathy Prendergast

“Three children mauled to death by pack of marauding pitbulls; pitbulls fear backlash.”

    • Perfect analogy!

      • Kathy Prendergast

Thank you, except, now that I think of it, a truly PC headline would read: “Millions of peaceful pitbulls fear pitbull-phobic backlash following fatal mauling of three children by small group of misunderstanders of pitbull-ism”.

        • Even more accurate. Those poor pitbulls have a hard time.

  • Minicapt

    From the CBC:
“The attacker attempted to move farther into the building, but was taken down by a group of between six and eight soldiers, …”
“The suspect is currently being held in custody in hospital.” I wonder why …

    Cheers

    • Rosenmops

      Good work, soldiers!

      • WalterBannon

They should have been armed, particularly after the incident at the HOC and all the intelligence reports telling us that we were on the muslim terrorist hit list. Our govt likes our troops to be targets and not give them tools to defend themselves.

  • He said: come eat at Ali’s Snackbar! It was just an advertising ploy, nothing to do with Islam (other than the diverse food).

  • Gary

That’s it Justin , bring in another 175,000 pro-sharia homophobic muslims and hundreds of rapefugees .
