The left is whining about Turkish Coast Guards trying (and failing) to stop a migrant boat in Turkish waters. The traffickers refused to heave to and the Turks attempted to disable their engine by hitting it with boat hooks.
They should have shot the engine full of holes, then used the boat hooks to put holes in the boat.
Obama’s presidency: the great foreign policy success story.
In the Fakestinian Territories, the proportion of people with an unfavourable opinion of the US has dropped from 82% to 70%.
And now for everyone’s entertainment, here is the news from the Sunday Toronto Star. 1. Big story on how evil the Halton Board of Education is for having students recite the oath to the Queen during morning ceremonies. We can expect a follow up story on how the oath should be to Wynne and the LIberals. 2. Editorial on how the government must change evil Harper’s prison system. Criminals are merely misunderstood, and need community care not jail cells. 3. Heart warming story on the personal lives of muslim suicide bombers. They are another misunderstood group who live great family lives. Sorry, I can’t write anymore, I have to go puke.
Remedy — stop reading The Star.
Ugh I will give it a look.
Do they still print that rag? I wouldn’t even used it to line the cat’s litter box.
We went to see Judy Collins perform at Hugh’s Room in Toronto yesterday. Collins was absolutley amazing! The opening act was Garnet Rogers and he was reliably horrible since all his songs sound exactly the same; he also seriously dissed former PM Harper during his set to the amusement of some in the bedraggled looking audience. My wife wondered at the number of rather stereotypical lesbians in attendance; said lesbos were genuinely ugly. For my part, I wondered why and how Toronto men manage to look so gay. I guess we truly are “not from the City”. 😉
BTW, the food at Hugh’s Room was really excellent this time around!
What a voice!
