Ankara explosion: At least 27 killed and scores wounded by ‘car bomb’ in Turkish capital

Officials say at least 27 people have been killed and scores more wounded after a huge explosion near busy bus stops in the Turkish capital of Ankara.

Reports from Turkey suggest a car bomb was detonated near Ankara’s main square in the Kizilay neighbourhood, though this has not been confirmed.

    I hope Europe’s leaders aren’t still considering offering EU membership to Turkey for a little help with border enforcement. Opening up the continent to 75 million Turks will mean the end.
