Trump Triumphant

Business Donors and Top GOP Leaders Hold Secret Conclaves to Stop Donald Trump

Multiple sources are reporting that GOP insiders, governors, donors, and tech CEOs recently gathered at two separate meetings to keep GOP frontrunner Donald Trump from winning the party’s nomination for president.

One gathering was at the Republican Governors Association meeting in Park City, Utah. The governors were treated to a slide show purporting to prove that Trump could be held to less than the 1,237 delegates he would need to win the nomination outright.

They are shitting their pants in fear that Trump may end the import of cheap labour, their tax havens and “Free Trade” deals.

The political class is no different in Canada.

The Conservatives allowed the grotesque abuse of the Temporary Foreign Workers program, cosmetically tinkering with it to improve the optics once the scandal hit the news.

I’d be really surprised if labour supply and corporate taxes were their biggest concern about Donald Trump.

If that were true, I’d expect they’d be more afraid of Bernie Sanders.

    • They are confident Bernie won’t win.

It looks like he won’t get the democratic nomination because Hillary has the support of (unelected) super delegates.

Yep the Bernie/Killary race fix is already in. Was looking at the results of some of the states. In one Bernie beat Killary 60% to 40%, but in the end they both received 15 delegates. WTF?

Its called “rigging”. Remember, the Dems are the evil party. 😉

They’re terrified of both. Which is exactly why I’m hoping it will end up being Trump vs. Sanders. Sheer terror for the elites.

    Invest in “Depends”.

The definition of a conspiracy: anything that gets Tim Cook, Elon Musk, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan in the same room.

  • If so many fear and hate Trump, he must be really good.

    • David Murrell

…all the more reason for Americans to vote for Trump.

Just imagine a meeting between President Trump and Justin: “Ok, Sissy Boy, you and that pansy ‘country’ of yours are going to have to pull your weight militarily or else.” Talk about shitting one’s pants, Turdeau 2.0 would need a diaper. Too bad it won’t happen and Justin will get to have nice warm and fuzzy get togethers with Hitlery (pass the sick bag, Ethel).

I would love to see Trump and Sanders shut out of the nomination process by party insiders then run on a third party Trump/Sanders ticket. If you really want change, you gotta think big!

    • bargogx1

That would be hilarious on so many levels!

      So many heads exploding.

    Karl Rove at conclave

    • Clink9

Trump should steal Ford’s Stop the gravy train campaign.

These guys are positively dumping in their pants at the thought of derailment.

    • DavidinNorthBurnaby

Karl Rove should be put down. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
