Sweden’s pro-incest youth wing of the Liberal People’s Party suggests giving men right to ‘legal abortions’

A pro-incest political group from Sweden has proposed giving men the right to a ‘legal abortion’ that would allow them to opt out of parenthood.

The Liberal People Party’s youth wing branch in western Sweden (LUF Väst) say men should be able to decide against being a father up to the 18-week cut-off for abortions, meaning in practice if a woman continues with the pregnancy, the man would have no legal responsibility for the child.

Not sure what the connection to pro-incest is, but this is a very good idea.

I know several guys with “Oops!” babies (also known as being mantrapped), where the mother conned him into one last fling before they broke up, that sort of thing. Their whole goal was to get a bouncing baby annuity out of it. All of them are separated/divorced, paying child support (on a low to modest salary) for a kid they never see, frittered away by the mothers who’ve typically hooked up with another man. The happy new couples are doing very well, particularly those in a 3-income household (mom, new boyfriend, bio dad’s wallet).

Leaving aside the morality of abortions, women have a right to choose whether or not to have a baby, with all the costs and responsibilities that entails. Men don’t. This seems the only fair way to give men that choice. Either he chooses to formally acknowledge the child, and will support it (ideally this is accompanied by a strengthening of the father’s parental rights in general), or he formally waives his rights and responsibilities so the mother decides whether she wants to go it alone.

Feminists will of course scream bloody murder at that idea of in anyway reducing a woman’s unilateral power over the matter.

Anti-abortion here too; and likewise it bugs me that a man who wants the kid can’t stop the abortion (there was even a SCOC case about it many years ago although I forget the year) so this is a logical extension of that (sick) philosophy.

Reversed, where the father wants to keep the child and could veto the mother’s desire to abort is politically and legally unrealistic.

Improved (and minimally invasive) transplantation surgery to remove the fetus, better established surrogates or artificial wombs, that seems like the way forward for those situations.

We should kill all the Swedes

I think they have killed themselves already, its just some slight twitching still.

It hasn’t taken long for Sweden to go from an embarrassment of riches to an embarrassment.

Can the taxpayer have its own ‘legal abortion’ too, allowing them to get a tax refund on child support payments made to any single mothers by the government?
