Gitmo

Obama Unveils Gitmo Closure Plan, Cites ‘No Incidents’ with Terrorists Already Held in U.S.

Declaring that he doesn’t “want to pass this problem on to the next president,” President Obama and the Defense Department officially submitted their plan to close the detention center at Guantanamo Bay.

Flanked by Vice President Biden and Defense Secretary Ashton Carter in the Roosevelt Room of the White House, Obama acknowledged that the law as passed by Congress blocks the transfer of detainees to the United States.

But he believes that that an appropriate lobbying effort will overcome that hurdle — including convincing Americans that they’ll be less safe if Gitmo stays open.

So why doesn’t Obama just empty all the Prisons and make the USA safer .

    • JoKeR

But there are some white men in prison too and they have to stay! Just ask any SJW.

    • He’s workin on it.

Bring all 91 of them to DC, Baltimore and Ferguson.

The moment the Guantanamo detainees land on U.S. soil leftist lawyers will run up hundred of million of dollars in legal costs to prevent them from being tried.

  • Obama being a Muslim mole in the WH, and his time there is running out (apparently), his mission (lone wolf mission, but still motivated by Islamic values) is to do all he can to aid his Muslim brothers while he has the power to do so. He is evidently less and less loath to reveal his hand as his last year in office draws to a close. He has nothing to lose now. Expect some mind-blowing events.
