The pizza is his valentine

Which makes sense. Marry what you love.

From Mashable:

Man spends Valentine’s Day with his one and only love: pizza

Reddit user milez1305 shared a photo of their friend, who achieved perfect synchronicity with the pizza universe with his special Valentine’s Day plans, which included pizza themed decor, pizza printed clothes and, of course, his favorite food: pizza

  • Well Pizza is a kind of life force.

There is no pizza around me good enough to fall in love with. There are tons of pizza places, and they all put out a crap product. I think because there are so many they have to compete on price (and i think they are cheaper than they were 25 years ago) but to make a buck they have to cut corners on quality. They don’t put enough toppings on and they use the cheapest cheese money can by. I long for the kind of pizza we got delivered to the barracks in Gagetown and residence when I was at school, but alas, I think they are a thing of the past.

Your taste buds are a thing of the past.

Americans should think about that when they vote in Bernie Sanders.

    • We are fortunate to have two pretty good places nearby. Both sole proprietors.

    • Just pick up a generic cheapo “freezer pizza” from No Frills. Buy all your favourite ingredients, dress it up, and voilà you’ve got an exquisite gourmet home-made pizza. (btw, I have no idea how Denyse found out what I was doing on Valentine’s day)

That is exactly what we used to do. Now every Thursday is pizza day in our house and we have home made pizza for dinner. The pizza is totally home made, including the crust, and with experimentation we have just about got it perfect. The trick to getting a good crust is to use a fairly soft dough and cook it in an oven as hot as you can get. We have a gas stove that we can get to 500 degrees. I think pizzeria ovens are even hotter than that.

As long as you have a few hours to make the dough, it’s pretty easy to do.
