It might not be good idea for Twitter to embrace stulifying poliicsl-correctness, given that the moribund corporation has been going downhill fast. It maes very little money; it IPO’ed at $42 and trades now at $141/2. No sane investor would buy the stock these days. Why this disaster of a coporation would hire a left-wing feminst to act as chief thought police is extraordinary.

It shows you they believe the liberal agenda is more important than their responsibility to shareholders.

Wow, one of the first articles to come up on the news feed when typing in her name and Twitter.

It says Twitter has about 40 groups so far as part of the council, including Feminist Frequency (Anita Sarkeesian’s group), Internet Watch
Foundation, the Samaritans, the Anti-Defamation League, anti-domestic
violence, anti-bullying and anti-hate speech groups.

It then has the gall to actually call them “a large and diverse group of organizations”. Seems pretty homogeneous to me, people who will rubber stamp banning things. Oh, and you can pretty much always spot a social activist it writing the news article when they refer to these groups as “stakeholders”.

Not that I used it much, but I did just go cancel my Twitter account over this.

    • I never joined. It’s just noise.
