Embarrassing! Witness Forgot She Gave #Ghomeshi A Handjob – Describes It As A “Little Thing”

This is embarrassing for everyone.

More….Yet another crown stutterstep

This just gets worse and worse...

Ghomeshi’s accusers exchanged 5,000 messages before and after going to police

TORONTO – Jian Ghomeshi’s sexual assault trial is hearing that two of the complainants who testified against the disgraced broadcaster discussed the allegations in thousands of messages they exchanged before and after they went to police.

The third woman to testify against Ghomeshi said earlier on Monday that while she and “Trailer Park Boys” actress Lucy DeCoutere — who testified last week — were friends, they did not discuss the sexual assault allegations involving the former CBC Radio host.

But during an intense cross-examination, the woman, who can not be identified, said that she did in fact discuss the allegations with DeCoutere.

Ghomeshi’s lawyer Marie Heinen noted that the two women had exchanged 5,000 messages, beginning on Oct. 29, 2014 — the same day DeCoutere went public with her allegations.

    This is so sexist!
What decent woman can remember every single hand job she has ever given, and to whom?
After the hounding she has received in the popular press over this manufactured controversy I would imagine she needs consoling.
Does anyone have her phone number?
I wish to reach out to her, and her to me.

    I’m a humanitarian damnit!!!

  • mobuyus

    The old five-knuckle-shuffle.

  • Physics grad

At the CBC, giving a handjob to get a job IS a little thing

    • Drunk_by_Noon

Obviously we are all working at the wrong places, we need to be over at the CBC.
Cat Man, can you pick us up some applications?

CBC HR drone during interview: So, Mr. ‘Drunk by Noon’, why do you want to work at the CBC?
Me: I heard the handjobs were awesome! …and so frequent that the ladies couldn’t even remember who they even gave them to!
CBC HR Drone: I’m calling security.
Me: Do they give handjobs too? Awesome!

      • Mal

Comment of the day, DBN. I’m lost in admiration.

  • Ron MacDonald

Doesn’t negate the fact he assaulted her, just proves she’s an idiot.

    • H

True but it speaks to the credibility of the witnesses: if they’re caught in lies or gross omissions, then how can anything they say be depended upon? I’m afraid this case is over in all but name.

      • Ed

        gross emissions?

        • H

          Heh – I wasn’t trying to be clever: I just didn’t notice that. A Freudian slip, I guess 🙂

          • Xavier

That’s when you say one thing and mean your mother.

          • andycanuck

(I just thought about that Cliff Clavin quote a few days ago, Xavier. LOL.)

      • Ron MacDonald

I doubt he will ever work in radio or television again.

        • H

I think you may be right: he’ll be too toxic even for the CBC.

          • El Martyachi

He could probably make a go of it as a spokesman for an adult entertainment company. It would be a more respectable profession…

          • Clausewitz

            There’s always City TV.

        • moraywatson

Leader of the NDP instead, perhaps?

        • dance…dancetotheradio

And ‘zeera ‘merika is going out of business.

    • If it casts a reasonable doubt on her allegations in the judges eyes then he has to acquit.

She was caught out at least twice – see this update

    • moraywatson

Hmmmm? Her idiocy may or may not be relevant, but her promiscuousness may well be. Implied consent to Ghomeshi’s deviances was given on some sexual acts, where did it stop? The women are whores, but there seems to be some question as to what kind of whores.

      • dance…dancetotheradio

I think despite less than stellar testimony from addled witnesses the case can be made that he trafficked implicitly in influence.

        • moraywatson

Ghomeshi is not my cup of tea, but I don’t believe that “trafficking implicitly in influence” is a criminal offence.

    • Xavier

Common sense and the judicial system are mutually exclusive.

  • k1992

It must be nice to be male, pretty and Muslim, and work for the CBC – apparently then you’re a babe magnet. Sigh ….

    • lolwut?

Not even, just go to any bar and be a douchebag and you’ll be a chick magnet.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

If you are rich and cute, you really have almost no restrictions on your interaction with women whom you date or even just have sex with.

  • Clink9

As if the crown isn’t involved in this set up.

  • The Butterfly

The females of your species are fascinating case studies in crazy.

    • El Martyachi

We you aware they are allowed to vote?

  • ontario john

Are we talking about the media and Trudeau?

  • Xavier

Like most successful predators, Ghomeshi chose his victims carefully and apparently kept files on them in case they ever complained. These foolish women are remarkably lucky all he wanted was rough sex.

    • Mal

Can you spell “malignant narcissism”? Sure you can!
That these women chose to overlook that slight defect in their inamorato says much about them, but does not negate the evident reality that he’s an organized sicko.

    • Clausewitz

Well psychopaths and serial killers do tend to keep trophies so they can relive the moment.

I’m constantly amazed how Dwight Yoakam always manages to write the perfect lyrics for every occasion:

“The only time I feel the pain
Is in the sunshine or the rain
And I don’t feel no hurt at all
Unless you count when teardrops fall
I tell the truth ‘cept when I lie
It only hurts me when I cry”

  • marty_p

Maybe the “Little Thing” she was referring to was Jian’s little soldier.

  • Edubeat

Obviously what she means by ‘little thingy’ is Ghomeshi’s ‘small todger’. Just thought BCF readers would like to know

    .

  • Waffle

Jian who? As far as I’m concerned, Marie is the star of the show:33

“. . . Ghomeshi had not yet retained Henein on the night of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association gala last October, when she took to the stage of the Ritz-Carlton with a one-liner that lit up the Twittersphere. “We represent people who have committed heinous acts—acts of violence, acts of depravity, acts of cruelty,” she quipped. “Or as Jian Ghomeshi likes to call it, foreplay.” (Toronto Life)

Good read — all you want to know about Marie (and more)

  • Jay Currie

So, I surmise, the Jian argument is “I like a bit of rough sex, so do the girls I date.” Crown’s initial position, “None of the complainants consented.” Jian’s argument, “they lie about everything so why would you believe them on lack of consent?” Crown’s new position, “Well they lie, and they call back and give ex post handjobs but they didn’t lie about non-consent, really. We investigated and everything.”

I would not be surprise if the judge accepts a motion to dismiss at the conclusion of the Crown’s case without Defence putting on a case. It is the kind thing to do.

    • Mal

The more I see of the Crown’s wretched case, the more the more my conspiracy-bone starts to ache, Jay. The Cankerous Broadcasting Company does have high friends in places, after all. If Mr. Chokey gets convicted, his enablers are going to have to face the music, too, no?
What else explains this complete balls-up? Or is it just bog-standard ineptitude on their part?

      • Physics grad

I have seen more competent crowns prosecuting traffic court

        • Mal

Absolutely, Grad. I just can’t help wondering if the ineptness is accidental, or deliberate.

  • Norman_In_New_York

This seems to be the theme of the testimony.

You’re all thinking it. And you all know I’m right.

  • Spatchcocked

“Witness described IT as a Little Thing”…..
What are we talking about here? The size of Ghomeshis chopper?
If so I think we have the raison d etre for Jians “hangups”.
I can identify with that so let’s cut him a little slack.
