Lawsuits Claim Disney Colluded to Replace U.S. Workers With Immigrants

Even after Leo Perrero was laid off a year ago from his technology job at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla. — and spent his final months there training a temporary immigrant from India to do his work — he still hoped to find a new position in the vast entertainment company.

But Mr. Perrero discovered that despite his high performance ratings, he and most of the other 250 tech workers Disney dismissed would not be rehired for at least a year, and probably never.

HR needs to be turned into landfill.

    • It is a disgusting practice.

The same thing is happening in Canada, my brother works in IT and has been losing contracts to workers from India that will perform the same work for a fraction of the cost. I hope these Indian IT workers install back door access to all the computer systems used by Canadian banks.

I really hope Disney gets financially hammered into the dirt on this one.
Jail for some top executives would be even better.

If Trump or the Kochs or any other Republican boogeyman pulled this shit, we’d never stop hearing about it.

If we are to believe Trump, and I do at this point, this is the exact kind of thing that pisses him off.
I hope he rips their throat out.

Seems like it’s a tailor-made story he could make serious hay over. The media won’t cover it, Disney being part of that family, but if Trump starts drawing attention to it…

People need to avoid Disney like the plague and make sure they tell people why they are doing it.

Unions across Canada and the US should be organizing a boycott of services to all these companies whether they employ union members or not.
