Zooey Deschanel. I could give a crap about her band but I would happily watch her stack groceries.

    • Doesn’t she look exactly like Katy Perry?

You lack the discerning male eye in these matters, Mamba, but yes, there is a resemblance.

        • They’re both very pretty.

I’m usually good at guessing what men and lesbians like, but even I can make mistakes. That chick from Twilight, for example, looks utterly boring to me. Not ugly. Not pretty. Above average. Just some girl you’d pass on the street. No vivid personality shining through or anything (I mean really Bette Davis wasn’t beautiful, but that didn’t matter). Nothing wrong with that, but why is she in movies?

            For “discerning” read “superficial”.

          • Well, to be overly earnest about it, I’m not sure. I think most women like female beauty/attractiveness for its own sake, at least when envy and jealousy aren’t front and center, which unfortunately and etc. I’ve never had any time for the idea that women possess some profound subtlety which is alien to stupid men, but no one can deny that men are visually hardwired in a way that women aren’t. The late lamented Alan Rickman wasn’t even particularly good looking. Ask any woman you know: even without The Voice, he was the sexiest actor alive. We’re just wired differently. Studies bear this out, but who needed them to do that?

Women are erotic objects to men, but by the same token women understand what being an erotic object entails. You must understand I read Sexual Personae at an impressionable age, which is probably why I talk such a lot of bollox.

Gotta love Ms. Paglia, though. One of the few folks at that end of the counter with a brain.

I once sat behind her on a flight from NYC to L.A. She worked on her notebook computer the entire time and was as quiet as a mouse. She’s also rather HOT in a lanky, intellectual way – far more attractive than I ever would have guessed. Anyway, Paglia is undeniably brilliant…

          • Yea I always found her attractive.

            Bette Davis not beautiful? Heresy!

          • I don’t get the Twilight chick at all.

You mean the star Kristen Stewart? Yuck she looks like there isn’t anything there. She has a vapid stare.

Now Ashley Greene was cute in that movie

    • Yup.

Another day with the religion of peace. Muslims attack university in Pakistan and muslims destroy the oldest Christian monastery in Iraq. I’m sure glad we are only getting the good muslims.

I wonder when the SJ weenies are going to come after these two for the white-privileged, egregious use of non-inclusive pronouns.
Jeez. It aggravates me that I even have to think of cracks like that.
Very pretty girl, Zooey. And she can sing in key. But, watching this video, she’s really not much of an entertainer, is she? This comes as a bit of a shock to me, because up until this very minute I thought I was a big fan of hers. When I think of what most professional entertainers of, just, say, the 30s through the 60s were capable of, today’s examples are pretty thin gruel.

I don’t know what it is about these people ‘ironically’ mocking a style or genre or whatever that bugs me..especially with all the beta faggots they could find stuffed into the frame.

Any-hoo here’s the real thing.. PopGear from 1965, the year before music changed forever…watch and smile..

btw..when watching Billie Davis, she should sue for the amount of times her vocals, style etc. have been ripped off as of late..tell me you haven’t heard ‘her’ in a lot of recent commercials etc.

    • Thanks!
