Trudeau Triumph: Canada not invited to anti-ISIS coalition meeting in Paris

In an interview with host Rosemary Barton, parliamentary secretary muslim 5th columnist to the minister of foreign affairs Omar Alghabra called the meeting “spontaneous” and that “not being invited didn’t come as a surprise.”

  • Drunk_by_Noon

Well, Trudeau DID SAY that he was not interested in fighting ISIS and ordered all CAF operations to cease.
I think they are just respecting his wishes.

    • El Martyachi

      He’s such a fag (not a compliment).

    • Clive_G

Hold on, hold on…grammatically you cannot use ‘Trudeau’ and ‘respect’ in the same statement.

      • David Murrell

        Heh.

    • David Murrell

True, and Defence Minister Harjit Sajjan is still being fawned over, by our pro-Liberal corporate media. No need to worry about this snub. All is well in Liberal Ottawa.

    • Dustoff

Trudeau DID SAY that he was not interested in fighting ISIS.
      *******************************

That doesn’t mean ISIS isn’t interested in harming you and others.

      • Clive_G

“You may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you.”

        Leon Trotsky.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

I’m sure they want to kill us all, but have you seen Justin’s hair lately?
        It’s fabulous!

    • Alain

He even said they would not be bombed even if they attacked us.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

Yeah, he should not have said that.
Why did he say that? Did anyone ask him why?
Because to the feral sub humans that run ISIS, that’s seen as an invitation to attack a week opponent.
I just pray he doesn’t get any Canadians (or anyone else) killed while he’s trying to appear deep, thoughtful, and sensitive.

When you decide to abandon your allies in a fight…. this will happen.

    • Canadian

They are not his allies. They were Harper`s.

      • Clive_G

They are not his allies. They were Canada`s.

        FIFY.

        • Millie_Woods

Allies in what exactly? The Americans desultory bombing campaign, where the Obama administration has to authorize every bomb that’s dropped and warns ISIS in advance? The French revenge-for-Paris-massacre mission? The war for Syrian regime-change?

Like Lybia, Syria has been nothing but a humanitarian disaster and an exercise in refugee-making. Canadians have a proud history of fighting for ‘just’ causes in defence of freedom and humanitarian causes. Syria is neither.

Trudeau makes me puke on every other issue but pulling out of the Syrian quagmire is the thing to do. Never should have been there to begin with.

          • Clive_G

As Maj Gen General Lewis Mackenzie said, “We Bombed The Wrong Side” in Kosovo, so there are holes in the ‘just causes’ claim.

Libya, we should have stayed out of; Assad, I believe should have been left alone; anything to do with Obama should be avoided.

That said, these are our allies, they’re not perfect, and neither are we, but if we don’t have a seat at the table we can’t back them up by pointing out possible/probable errors in their strategies.

          • Millie_Woods

For what it’s worth, l was opposed to getting involved in the Bosnian/Serb thing too. No NATO country was attacked . It was strictly a European affair at the time.

          • eMan14

That’s the other thing too. It does seem like a pointless exercise. The bombing campaign is without conviction. It seems more photo op than strategy. Which is Justin’s style. For that reason I’d agree we shouldn’t have joined the fight. But we did. And we are going to abandon our allies in this.
Strangely enough… we are still there. How long does it take to end a mission? Or are they looking for a face saving alternative?

          • Millie_Woods

Agreed. Pulling out isn’t as easy as a phone call to Obama and announcing that the new management doesn’t want to go along on his Excellent Adventure.

      • Bobd06

        Moron.

        • Canadian

          Thanks!

          • Bobd06

            Yer welcome.

          • Canadian

            I accept all compliments.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

            I love you guys! 🙂

          • Canadian

            Us morons?

          • Drunk_by_Noon

Is ‘moron’ Canadian for ‘a-hole’? 😉

          • Canadian

            It means the same everywhere.

      • Drunk_by_Noon

        I don’t know.
Ask any American (not on this board) who is the current PM of Canada is, and who was the one before him.
For every befuddled blank stare you get as if you just asked what the atomic mass of cesium is, you owe me a dollar (USD) or 1.45 (CAD). If they somehow manage to answer correctly, I give you $10 American.
I’ll have my first Maserati convertible by this time next week. 🙂

        • Canadian

Ask a good percentage of Canadians the same question, and you`ll get the same befuddled stare.

          • Drunk_by_Noon

            Oh my!
            Really?

          • Canadian

            `Fraid so…

  • damorris

Hey,at least he hasn’t ridden around Montreal on a Harley wearing an ISIS T-shirt.

    • UCSPanther

      All in due time…

  • vimy

They didn’t want Omar Alghabra passing on there plans to the enemy

    • tamale

      Exactly

    • Canadian Friend

Giving away winter coats while taking selfies? what a plan Justimbecile Trudeau has!

  • Ottawa Eyes

They might be worried that when Trudeau shared their plans with Omar the information would go directly to ISIS.

  • Bobd06

The Liberals always went on about how Harper diminished Canada’s “standing on the world stage”.
Harper was never this good at it.

    • Drunk_by_Noon

      Diminished with whom?
I think that’s just made up criticism by Harper’s political enemies.
A Canada with competent political leadership gets listened to, a Canada lead by flakes gets ignored, or handed a coloring book and set of crayons.

  • simus1

Shiny Pony will fly to turkey and jordan to distribute several parkas, pretend to personally select deserving refugees while on a selfie safari there, and have a high level meeting with himself. Then the adults will be sorry.
